EO unreleased Royal Bhutan,

Condensed milk-soaked breadcrum and mildly fermented hay poured over pistachios/cardamom-garnished halwa on background of spikenard musky earthiness, super delicate leather, and traces of metalic rusty hues.

Close to Assamugo Senkoh in scent and addicted quality.

Ensar should name it Bhutanesu Senkoh LOL!...

Previously All I could see in this oil was sheep droppings on a lemon pound cake. After many months is more hay and barn note and showing much better integration. The citrus bright note though is odd to my nose and sticks out. Not my cup of tea. A Tenacious oil that wasn’t going away or getting milder so sadly I had to disrespect it by washing off.

Went to my comfort zone: kanzen!
Lots going on here. More Vietnamese in character while still being Cambodian. The oolong tea notes are truly remarkable so are those vannilic creamy milky notes. The best part is that solid spine of bitterness running thru the oils heart.

Nha Trang LTD - all this talk of NT LTD got me reaching for my little vial of it! This oil of course is magnificent, I have very little else to add to what others have already said, except that I also find that it has a lovely "expanding" sort of texture in the nose - the vapors are felt as well as smelled.. Very soft and velvety sort of oil..

EO Khmer Xtreme,

Supreme oil PERIOD.
Strong leather, pipe tobacco, sweet resin, roasted nuts, sprinkle of cacao, traces of dried fruits buried in wet soil, bitter wood juxtaposed with wet barks, ambergris oceanic breeze juxtaposed with clean ozonic feel, and fresh air juxtaposed with a puff of smoke.

More of Vietnamese quality rather than cambodian, and I simply love this type of raw richly flavored oudiness.

Ensar's natural upscale V2 of TF Tobacco Oud...

PS: simply, as I remember and if I'm not mistaken it's in the same family of EO Cambodi X scent wise. If you don't like the latter you may not like this one, so sample first.

FO Chan Yan. I'm surprised to have not heard more about this one. It has lovely Feel Oud style oudy vapours with florals and fruits that are neither too sweet or too dominant. It really is a delight and at the price was a great deal. Missed out at the time but very glad to have got hold of some anyway.

Sultan Sufyan (Ensar) - an explosion of aromadelic fantabulousness! I do not exaggerate - it's remarkable how intense and bursting with notes the aroma profile of Sultan Sufyan is.. The general theme is fruity and floral notes, though with a deep dark background to it.. Very curious to know what the Sumatra wood smells like on its own - we know well the New Guinea wood that Ensar used to cook the Sultan Series - but what is this Sumatran wood? I believe Sultan Sufyan is the only oil that has it, and I'm not all that familiar with Sumatran oud and wood in general.. The combo though, is phenomenal.. This is a great oud, a classic.

Nha Trang. Oh boy. What can I say? This is not the bitter medicinal Vietnamese oud a la K1 or royal guallam. This leans more to the Kyara LTD side. Just a beautiful, pure, extremely introspective and meditative oil. And this is from just the first dab, 5 mins after opening the box. This is going to take multiple wearings to decode its secrets. For now, this is a less is more kind of experience. You cannot believe how beautiful it is given it minimalist style.
Congrats on the Nha Trang. It was the one that clued me in about kinam-now I find traces of it in other oils too. To me the NT is the explanation of Oud.

Yeah excellent and unique smell this artemisia flavored tea-dates molasses-loquat fruit juice-french vanilla-bamboo antique wood oud oil...

The particular exotic fruits aroma in the heartnote of this oil I haven't smelled elswhere.

Aroha Kyaku. Orignal Batch. Liquid Gold. Oud is its most intense and vivid form. A swipe is equivalent to living through the lifecycle of Oud from sapling to being on the heater. Pure Oud Incense with Naga resin sweetness from really rare old trees. Extraordinary distillation. Fails all my Marokes and other incensy Ouds. No.1. Why was this offered for so less ? Crazy the Oud world is...lol.

my love for vietnamese oils is well documented. outside of it, next best place is Borneo, esp brunei/malinau.

wore my favorite layering combo: a swipe of kekasihku with a dot of royal malinau. former has ZERO sweetness and mostly heart notes, while RM is mostly massively diffusive top notes with creamy and long base. this combo is insanely awesome to my nose. a melange of bitter, earthy, green without the cooling side to it meets, orange creamsicle, most heavenly cinnamon, cream and flowers from mars.

That really sounds like an incredible combo!

My day started with a little Kinam Rouge to kickstart the morning. In between cases, Hindi oud seems to be about the best to calm the stress. Some Kanglei works beautifully for this purpose.

Try it doc. Really a wonderful marriage. Max 2 dots. The synergy is scary good.

As for Kinam Rouge, well this one is already like a marriage of 5 oils. To date the most complete and complex oil I have seen. Speaking of range of aromas present at a given time (horizontal) and the evolution on the skin as time goes (vertical). I wish it had a dash more of that kinam edge bitter mind buzzing more (z axis). May fool around one day and add a drop or two of something like ksk to it.

AA’s Camellia this morning. Wow this is a stunning oil with a incensey dry down. Absolutely fantastic stuff.
This afternoon I went with another Cambodian and wore AA’s Kuzen. The notes of this oil is something everyone who loves Cambodian should experience. Tea, citrus, woody = a perfect oil.

I’ll haven’t swiped this oil in a while, but now I realize how much I miss it.

very good
The smokey incense note is very desirable to me, I feel that most oils in my collection would benefit from some smokey incense note.
