Affordable Oud oils?

Upper tier Oud oils from @Ensar Oud exceed all expectations. Time and time again people are blown away by the quality of his wild oils and his Oriscent legends which have garnered an almost religious following in the oud community. People chasing these oils are paying over ten times the original market price and sometimes more. However, it’s important to remember that some of Ensars more affordable oils can have a similar affect. I remember when I was fairly new into my oud journey, I had oud Yusuf under my belt and was looking for something reasonably priced and this knocked my socks off. I think I paid around £100 at the time in the sale for 3 grams which is crazy money. Aroha Kush exhibits a depth and personality which is well beyond it’s price point. I think it’s fantastic when a company doesn’t only focus on creating the best but also strives to make the best affordable.

This definitely sounds like a beautiful oil. And yes, absolutely impressed with the quality of some of the ouds I have recieved from EnsarOud. Especially the Sri Lankan oils. One particulary that keeps amazing me is the Peoples Kampot I have. It is very amazing how oils can smell entirely different to us, months down the road. Right now I get some of the cleanest leather, rainy day, slight clean dust in the air, vibes.

Another awakening experience with a oud was when it came to Irian Erang. At first the green note was to much for me. I couldn't really pick up much pass it do to the overwhelme. But oud was like that for me to begin with. A enticement and then a love and olfactory awareness that started to grow, and keeps growing. It wasnt until I sat with Irian Erang and really had to empty my mind and get really curious with the nose, that then I experienced it open up and dance together and experienced a very mature scent.

All these oils, at a decent price. And very grateful. Yet, saving now so I may explore some of the legends. And have them on the alter.

Bless, Brother king!

What about if we have really poor quality ouds that have been collecting dust because I don't know what to do with them to make them better? I'm referring to this one called " zakiya by Naseem PerfumeS. It's very farm like in its character and dirt cheap like 20-40$ Canadian for 12ml lol. I just don't know what to do with it.

You could take that $40 CAD per tola oud and alchemically transmute it into super king agarwood oil. There are severe oud shortages in Canada, from what I understand. Charity never goes to waste. ;)

Irian Erang is an incredible oil for the price point, is it running low or sold out now?

I’d say leave it on the table in the masjid but the problem with these cheap oud oils is you don’t know what is in them. I have loads of cheaper oils sat there also, not oud but cheap oils I don’t know what to do with also lol ...

Somewhere in between those two perhaps probably more closer to standing behind the horse lol

Well based on the company that it's from I'd say it's definitely not pure in the sense that you're thinking. I wish someone who knows it first hand could speak on it from there knowledge
