That sounds heavenly all around Ensar!! Noticed you have been on a Kyara LTD kick lately. That is an oil I rarely touch because of it's value, but maybe a tiny swipe is in order. :)
Been dissecting many facets of Chinese & Vietnamese Oud lately. I can say with full confidence that this batch of Kyara LTD is the crowning jewel of Aquilaria Sinensis distillations. Sometimes I just feel like Royal Kinam, and from a therapeutic perspective I find it to be a superior oil. From the point of view of olfactory perfection, Kyara LTD is more complex and multifaceted.

And from a spiritual perspective, in terms of nearness to Divinity?

I did plan to explore the new AO Meghalaya tonight, but the evening's pot of tea before retiring has changed the plan.
Keeping with the mountain theme, tonight I'm cooking a small clay pot of fresh Snowy Mountain Chrysanthemum, and to accompany it, Oud Yusuf was the first thing that popped into my head..
Not as fancy as an Oolong, but no caffeine before bed.

My agarwood oil preference has been stuck in India as of late and with little free time my tea preference has been stuck on simple green tea bags and the occasional Earl Gray. Today I thought I'd take some time to venture to the islands, specifically Nantou County, Taiwan and Malinau, Borneo. Spring 2015 Shan Lin Xi high mountain oolong from Floating Leaves Tea, brewed in Petr Novak ~85ml pot on Mirka Randoza tea boat, a stick or two of Fu-In Kyara Ryugen and the vanilla honey'd Ensar Oud~Bois de Borneo.

That's a brilliant idea Sidi! I have been toying with the thought for quite some time. Only problem is, now it may be too late. There simply isn't enough kinam to go around. The same can be said of high quality wild agarwood. The same can even be said of high quality oolong tea!

The good news is, while there may not be enough kinam to start a company, there's enough to offer a gram or two here & there, on Ensar Oud ;)

I wish! I just got back from a trip yesterday, and tomorrow I need to fly out again to cut a 150 year-old tree!

Going to drown my travails in a cloud of ancient Mysore.
Woah 150 years old! What region is that from Sidi? Would you consider that one of the oldest trees you might come across? And based upon the information you have gathered, could you say it might yield some top notch Oudh?

Subhanallah! Wishing you all the best on your trip.

I'm generally more of a chinese tea enthusiast, but I have some fresh gyokuro lined up for this afternoon.
I'm open to suggestions from anyone for pairing oud profiles and gyokuo from experience.
