As far as style goes, these sit right in the middle of oriental and western perfumery....maybe a bit more oriental leaning though. They seem to be very concentrated...borderline extrait if not exactly that. She also makes solids and oils. She is based out of AUS and has access to a lot of great materials right at her fingertips and makes a lot of her own perfume materials from local flora. Top quality stuff. Furthermore, she knows Oud and uses it very well in her compositions. case in point, Black Spruce, which I wore today. Notes: Oakmoss, Vietnamese Oud, Black Spruce, Amyris, Sandalwood, Frankincense, Rose Otto, Vetiver, Birch Tar and Ruh Khus. This is a complex foresty fragrance that transforms into a very Oudy fragrance. Folks often assume natural perfumes don't perform well, but that doesn't seem to be the case with her stuff. I've worn two on skin thus far and one lasted about 8 hours (black spruce was 10) and had very nice projection; I could smell myself all day. This was really an incredible fragrance. I need to buy at least a travel size of this.
