With a forced choice I'd have to go with Nha Trang LTD as it is a high level benchmark oil for a region revered by most agarwood essential oil aficionados. I like having benchmark oils on hand not only to enjoy and sometimes share, but to learn from through comparative analysis. I have to admit I love (and own) Kyara LTD too but it is not as essential to me as NT LTD. Best of luck with your decision!

All three no doubt have their place. But since kynam emerald or even kannan koh is for me a tad above sultani, I can eliminate sultani.
Kyara Ltd is a beast. A monster oil. Easily the biggest most broad shouldered and complex one yet.

nha trang is more zen. More mini profile. More finessed.

don’t force me choose.

What I was deeply concerned and worried about in mid mid journey into oud was what would happen to all my stash of mid tier oils and below. Will I ever get to enjoy them after encountering the highest tier oils? Or equally worse, how will I be able to re stock the top tier oils as I continue to wear them.
Luckily the actual reality for me ended up radically different.
Some days I honestly find nothing better than green papua for my mood. Or when I have that muana craving, no oriscent oil would do. So don’t fear the top tier oils. They will not make entry or mid tier oils obsolete.

as for how will I manage my finances with using top flight oil; well the truth is maybe even at 1/10th of the wear (tiny dot vs a fat swipe), oils like kyara Ltd or royal kinam have more oomph, more depth, more projection that I could believe. Even with monthly or at time more frequent wears I have maybe at most used 0.2 of nha trang Ltd in like 2 years!!!!

I have said this before but I say it again, while there is a shock price (I still get it too) to let’s say paying $599 or $799 for only 0.5 gram of an oil, it actually goes a loooooong way. 0.5 is a few years worth of wear for me and how I use top tier oils.
