    SOTD

I took my first swipe of Tigerwood 95 today. I'll post my review as well. When I was young I always loved how the sheikh at my masjid smelled. He probably wasn't into oud, but whatever he was wearing I really loved it. It set a basis for what I thought of as the kind of perfume that a sheikh...

    SOTD

I'll post my review of Oud Yusuf here, as I took a little dab of it for Jummuah today. When I first received this oil in the mail, I immediately put a little dab on to try my new oil. My heart sank, and my stomach churned. I thought I made a huge mistake and was readying myself to store the...

    Future Of Oud Kickstarter

Sorry, I'm a bit late to the discussion. I popped onto Ensar's blog because I wanted to learn a bit more about oud and get excited about what's coming in the mail. However, what I met was agony, when I read that the beautiful Oud Yusuf plantation that I witnessed in Ensar's video was all gone. I...

How do you prepare your skin before applying your oil?

I was wondering about skin chemistry. In various ouds, not all ouds, but a good chunk for me to notice, the minty note that comes out is a bit like toothpaste, exactly like crest mint toothpaste. It's really odd because I haven't had this note before but It's getting more and more common to me...

    Black Friday @ EO

Of course! Haha, I was taking into account the fact that since I'm a beginner I might want to veer more towards sweeter ouds, so it was mainly a choice between great rare oud and pretty oud that might suit me better. A Hard decision, but one I'm a little glad was made for me!

Oud Oil Reviews - MAIN THREAD

IO Fragrant Harbour Supreme (apologies if you already saw this review on Ouddict) At first, I didn’t understand this oil. I thought it was a bit too vegetal and zesty. However, to be honest I don’t think I gave this oil enough of my patience. Now, this is an oil that I wake up wanting to smell...

    Sandalwood Reviews

So sorry for all of my questions everyone, it is just that I have been holding them in Wow, I had no idea that sandal wood was almost like oud. I had always had the conception that oud was always the most superior and complex fragrance, and that sandalwood was not as complex, and a bit bland...

    Oud Oil 101

I was just watching Part one of "Ensar and Taha" and I saw that when brother Taha was sampling an oil that Ensar had given him, he took the oil on his finger and tasted it. I was wondering, What are the benefits to tasting oud, as in what more information would he get out of the oud by tasting...

    Sandalwood Reviews

It is reviews like these that are slowly changing my mind about sandalwood. I am wondering, what is your take on Imperial Oud's 1915 Sandal wood oil offer, as It is a bit confusing to me, does sandal wood change over the years to become better like a raw puer? Or does age not matter at all.
