Any specific recommendations for a first time oud-oil buyer?

I have never tried an oud oil in my life, and I'm wondering where I can buy an oil that is beginner friendly.
Not too funky, but not too plain either.
I'm used to burning agarwood, but have never tried an oil.

Are there any sites that are "safe"?
Ergo; not selling fake oils or oils diluted with chemicals.
Also I would appreciate it if it came in small bottles or vials as I'm not very wealthy.

Have a great day!

The Ensar Oud Oudorable Sampler set would be a great place to start... in fact I would say it would probably be the best place to start as you will get a sample of some of the finest Ouds available for a reasonable price.. the only danger is that you may like it too much and start cutting down on food to fund further purchases... :)

Thank you for the answer!
Sounds great, gonna have to take a look at it.

I'd rather eat mediocre food and have good incense and perfumes, than the other way around.
Don't forget that incense and natural perfumes are food for the soul. ;)

Agreed.. we have a similar approach to Oud, although I eat no food and have good Oud instead.

Eat less, Oud more ;)

I agree with Floraopia's recommendation of the Sampler. That will give you a sense of what kind of Oud oil you like, before you invest in a 3g bottle.

I recommend Oud Yusuf by Ensar Oud.
It's a perfect "entry-level" oud in my opinion. It's very fruity & floral, completely transcendent experience when you wear it, especially on the dry down.
Also for $249 it's a complete bargain!
