Golden Lotus Electric Incense Heater

Today one of close friends send me a gift and turned out to be the Lotus Heater. What a beautiful and thoughtful gift. I had planned on getting this soon and turns out, I got it today in the mail.

I quickly set it up and turned the dial to the max. I put some small pieces of borneo and sinking sri lankan wood. It slowly starting giving off its aroma and now my whole room is filled with the aroma. Will be playing around with this more and try to pick up the unique notes from the beautiful wood, mother nature and the Artisans have given us..

I have this heater and use it for things like frankincense tears, copal chunks, pine resins, etc.

Delighted to learn that it will work for oud as well! I had mistakenly assumed it wouldn't be hot enough.

I have a perfume that katlyn made using one of ensar's ouds. Doesn't last long but it's lovely.

@rodeoclown For better heat/ burn, make sure the wood chips are at the least shredded to bits and not chuck pieces. Better still if you can have it grinded.

I did crush some of the agarwood and put it on the burner. What a beautiful aroma it gave off. Thank you for teaching me that!

I recently picked up a Golden Lotus as well, very happy with it so far! I agree most things should be ground up, I have a couple mortar/pestles... for agarwood and sandalwood just cutting into small slivers works well too. It gets hot enough as long as the pieces are small/ground up.

Also got a sample of Koh-An incense, it's really great! As are the others I've tried from Mermade...
