Hello Everyone,
I am writing from Dhaka. My appreciation and intentional use of agarwood oil is relatively new. But I was aware of it for a long time. Anyway, now I can't live without it!
For that I must thank Nikhil and Sultan Pasha for rekindling my love for attars and agarwood oils. I m also aware of Ensar, Al Shareef Oudh, Agar Aura, Feel Oud and others - will be venturing into those very soon.
What I found really amazing is when I combined a dahn al oud (probably Cambodian) from Al Haramain (available locally), and Taif rose oil. It was something deep, strong and quite incensy (sorry I lack fragrance vocabulary). Equally importantly, ever since I started using Sultan Pasha's attars, it is been a quite expensive trip for me.
I hope to learn more from this wonderful forum. With that said, I'd be grateful if you can recommend me some local vendors in Bangladesh who sell good quality Attars, and Dehn al Ouds in Bangladesh.
Bests,
Ashfaque
