I know that macerating in sandelwood is great but what and in Bulgarian Rose oil?

In regards to sandalwood what's the quality of Australian sandelwood. ? Reason is I might be getting my self some. What's the price usually go for 1kg?

The moisture in musk grains would mean you’d need to cure the maceration. Rose oil would not fare very well if you subject it to the airing and heating required to pull off the arduous process of musk maceration.

So would that not be The same if I put it in sandalwood oil? How does one cure the musk grains? Or am I mistaken? Or how does one cure the maceration? I thought you just put the musk grains into the oil and let it sit. No? Barakallaahufeekum

Sandalwood is much hardier than rose brother. It can tolerate curing and airing etc. It’s a lot more complicated than just putting musk in a bottle and pouring sandalwood oil on it. I use lab equipment to do it and it takes weeks. I can’t disclose more than that though. :)
