my new smoking closet

#1
its an instant wardrobe from walmart(18.00) that i cut a slit in the bottom to put my elec heater in. i then made sure to use a timer so it would shut off in an hour. i then started thinking about if the dogs bumped it and clothes fell off the hanger it could easily catch fire but, then i added a milk crate over the heater. comments?

The only suggestion I would make is to use Charcoal in order to scent your cloth properly. You need to generate a lot of smoke for it to stick to the fabric in my previous trials.

you are right about that. my trial run of 1 hour with a small chip deff needs more. the clothes smelled great for about 2-3 hours. i also realized this is a breathable cloth but, ive got one in clear plastic that should seal alot better. funny how a campfire can make your clothes reek after camping and, its outside. i plan on more wood chips next time i go anywhere.

im too afraid to try charcoal because i burn in my basement and, ive read it can use up all the o2 in a small room. is that true?

im into my stash of cambodi chips my friend got for me as a GIFT, he lives there. i plan on going there in april to buy as much as i can get. they are the best chips ive ever had and cost him 50.00 for 15 grams. they told him they had 1 grade higher for 200 for 15 grams but they stored it at their home. i plan on buying some of thier premium as well. to me it smells better than the sinking grade i got from taha's friend wich, are the best chips ive ever PAID for.

the chips are deff wild cambodian and from what my friend tells me the thais and cambodis dont get along to well. i will have to check into the laws before i go as i do not want to spend any amount of time in a 3rd world prison.

my friend said they almost didnt let him though customs with the wood. i told him to try and find me some and he happened to score bigtime. i guess customs was sleeping that day as he brought me the cobra snake wine and ive just found out he wasnt suppossed to bring it over.

are the laws in cambodia the same as in thailand?

theres no way i'd ever drink that wine, lol. theres a pic of the bottle in my sig and im sure after haveing a cobra and scorpion soaking in it, im sure it would be vomitus.

sorry i wasnt triing to avoid the question. im not really into any religion. born and raised a mormon my boilogical lats name is young and im the great great great great great grandson of brigham young, one of the founders of the mormon church. mom didnt tell me until i was 20, it would have been nice to know the town i was born in and jr high school were named after my family, lol. i havent been to church since i had a disagreement with the bishop at 16 and was told to never come back. i think the bishop would have been kissing my butt if he knew i was related to the founder of his church.

That clothes smoker is an awesome idea! Gotta give that a go. Although i have a lil'mancave room i have to burn my Incense/Oud in since the wife hates it. I should just shut the door & leave the clothing im gonna wear the next day in there overnight. its like a 10 x10 room pretty small. But im sure the smaller the space the better though. Good idea :)

Although Katlyn of Mermade Arts is a loyal customer, she's never ordered Oud Sultani from us. But that's not to say that she couldn't have acquired it from another collector. You might email her directly and enquire.

well lets find out. just ordered a bottle of each.

the ali's are back in stock. i bought all they had last mo after i figured out how nice they were. ive even tinctured some in frac coconut oil and, some in perfumers alcohol to see if it can be made wearable. burned some last night, they really dont need the pile of powder under it if you keep the heat low(under 5). after the scent starts to fade, break it up into pieces for another burst of fragrance. the pellets are cylindrical when you remove the powder completely and very easy to crumble. with the powder left on, i slice down the middle from flat side to flat side. i then place the half on the burner with the curved side down to limit the contact with the burner. pics can be posted if anyone requests it.

i start on level 0 as my indicator dial has got loose so it could be off a couple notches. as you heat it up if it starts to lose power(scent) then start tuning it up a notch at a time. this should get you the maximum enjoyment from the pellet. if you are having company then break 1/2 into small chunks and burn it at 3 for a real powerful burst.

When you heat oud chips on your electric burner what number do u put it on to get the best results?
I have the same one and just curious what works best for you with oud chips.

If we're talking about the electric burner from mermade, then I usually start Oud chips at 10, then go up to 20, and after a good burn around there, I take it up to 30, and then to be sure I've gotten all I can, I might go a little more. Depends on the chip though. A rare 80yr old piece of wood I would probably take it slow and easy...but average-good Oud wood, I go for the burn with more fervor.

i like to start my woods out at 15 and, i like to break it up into small pieces(especially if its sinking grade). i lay them with the flattest side down. i somethimes get a little burnt wood smell in the first burn but, after that its sweetness seems to compound and theres no burning scent at all. i let it burn for about 30 minutes and that fills my area up nicey. then the next time i up it 5-10 incriments deprending on my mood. i keep doing that till i hit 80 and theres no scent left on the chips when heated. after this process the chips are very light(wieght) and charcoal like but, not completley ash so i save them in a jar. for what i dont know, lol.
