Salaam
Hi all I’m new to oud oils and thought id share my oud experiences and thoughts. Hopefully you could help me decide on a few decisions.
The choices are between the organic ouds from Ensar or other quality ouds in that price range.
Oud Yusuf was an instant favourite. But recently crassna cha has developed and become my new favourite with its mysterious character, when to start with it was my least favourite. I can’t decide from these two oils, so would really appreciate it if some of you could give me your thoughts on which oil you would chose if you were in my position and why?
Many Thanks to everyone in advance :)

I would go for Oud Yusuf. In my opinion, it is more complex, and holds more potential with age. It already has a nicely developed Kyara note reminiscent of some of Ensar's most expensive oils. Not to mention, not a single tree was cut down in order to distill that oil. Yusuf is one of Ensar's best releases. Crassna Cha is still a great oil, but if you had to choose between the two, I would say Oud Yusuf.

Hi
Thank you for your opinions :) I would have a think on it.
Adam, unfortunately I did not receive the oud sultani with my sampler. Unlucky for me I purchased the sampler before sultani’s release. It would have been nice to have a test. With a price tag that high it has to smell super duper amazing. Have you tried it?
Another question.
Do you know any reputable sites I could purchase samples of oud wood? I would like to try some but most places I’ve seen only sell in bulks. Never tried, it and do not want to buy ten grams worth that most places sell? Also what are you impressions of Borneo Zen?

Borneo Zen is my favorite Ensar Oud parfum. It is an excellent blend. Notes of sweet Borneo at the top, and rose and musk in the middle-bottom. Very well-blended. Elegant and refined, an addictive fragrance.
