Oud Kampuchea

My saying that it is "underrated" is just my general impression (which Taha agreed with) that Kampuchea hasn't been receiving the attention it deserves (much like Oud Khidr). I just haven't noticed people talking about it much, that's all I meant by it. You know how some oils immediately generate a lot of discussion and attention, and others don't generate the same level of interest. It's all subjective, but that was my impression. I felt like Kampuchea was becoming a sort of hidden treasure that I was quite happy to discover!

I've tried Oud Khidr. I love it. If there was a "diesel" oud oil, this would be it. The strength is noble and assertive. I like wear it when it is cold out for some reason. I have to apply it about a half an hour or so if I'm going out. I'll go into a room and roll up my sleeves and the strength of this fragrance will set the tone and atmosphere around me. If I'm not going out I will put a good smear on and the powerfullness helps me focus. It almost takes you back to the dawn of creation and time if a smell could do that.

@ Oudiferous: I apologize, I did not mean any disrepect getting off topic if you wanted to keep this thread about Oud Kampuchea, as it sounds like an incredible oil, but I have yet to try it thus proving your point it is an underated oil.
