*Throwback*
I thought it'd be fun to resurface this thread as it mentions some of Ensar's Oud Parfum releases from back in the Oriscent days.
Since their first releases Ensar has worked and reworked Borneo Zen, Thai Tabac, Jungle Kinam, and Kyara Koko honing and refining their profiles. And with each batch he takes their excellence and edges it closer to perfection...
What I love about these renditions is that they're all different from one another, each unique and each crossing over genres of scent classifications and categories attaining the perfumer's vision and experience of his expression. A scent whose whole is greater than the sum of its parts....
I have a mild synethesia and I often experience fragrances with associated colors and visuals and below is what Kyara Koko reminds me of.
Kyara Koko starts with a narcotic herbaceous breeze of florals that persist as the fruity and fleeting sour undertones surface tinged with vanilla before returning to a
base of lighter Muguet-esque florals with white waxy petals. All the while there's a jungle feel to it, a
texture imparted by the ingredients intermixed for the floral Kōdō that is Kyara Koko.
The more time you spend 'looking' at it, the more you see... the more you
experience.
