Phantom whiffs

Have you ever experienced this:
While sitting over your morning cup of tea (or coffee) and trying to sense the energy of the day (or trying to decide which oil will accompany you that day) you suddenly catch a whiff of this or that oil-- without even having applied it!
Matter of fact, you are not wearing any oil or mukhallat at all...and the drydown of yesterday´s oil is already gone.

To me, it usually happens during my morning meditations. Suddenly, through and by that phantom whiff, I know what oil to wear at this day.
Relatable; or not?

very close, i noticed my abilty to conjure aromas out of nothing after perfuming for a few years. if i think of kyara i can smell it yet, as you say, only briefly. on occasion when in public ill smell a note of a perfume and instantly smell a full bodied oil/oud from my collection for a brief second.
