Where do you see any evidence of anyone feeling threatened? Apart from perhaps the folks who panicked when they heard I had a sample of the oil and accused me of bluffing? I haven't even given any analysis or review of it, save from a few first impressions. Please don't jump to conclusions, brother.

Here is what I know with 100% accuracy. As of yesterday, there were 5 people that either had a bottle of H1 or a sample. One was myself. The second is in North America. A third in the UK. I know for a FACT, none of these people shared the oil with Ensar. The other two people received samples YESTERDAY in the States. That's it. So I ask, how is it possible without Star Trek technology for Ensar to sample H1?

That's all honky-dory, Doc, and you can insist upon what your'e saying is true, but that doesn't make it a proven statement. All I am saying is that virtually all threads of substance have devolved into a he said-he said, one person's word vs. another, miscommunications and interpretations. It's a sad state of affairs, and I am grieving the loss my of Oud forum.

I have stayed out of every single controversy because it is not my cup of tea. But this has gotten a tad too far.

Is there a reset button? If not, I will go the way 99% of other members have.....

Well, doc, either technology has made some stunning advances or the source of your "accuracy" is sketchy...

As I suspected, I am glad somebody was willing to send you a pic of their sample vial. I suspect I know who it is. My accuracy is dead on. Keep in mind, even though I am a spine surgeon, I am still an Orthopedist who has operated on at least a 1000 hands in my career. That is not a hand of a person with a BMI of around 20, which you appear to be.

Maybe @m.arif can help translate this for you: 'Nak seribu daya, tak nak seribu dalih...'

Please stay Philip,........ I will, .........
no controversy will defeat me.
For the pure love of oud, I stay in the forums.

Scents of the day....
It’s my day-off today
So what’s better than an oud binge;)

I started off with beauty and the beast
Ayu on the left, Kambodi X on the right
Although for an oudhead like me, I can easily say that Ayu is a beast, and KX has the beauty (barn):D

Then I went with Rajakiya
Rich caloric extractive goodness, although it’s not an extract. I’m glad I got in on this one.

Then I explored my TO 90 year wild tree oil
This oil perplexes me because I do not have a lot of experience with regional Hindi oils. It sure seems like a complex oil, but try as I may, I cannot wrap my head around this one.

To wrap-up the day
Some XLL
My wifee said it smells like “old”
I call it “the oud from beyond”. It really shouldn’t be in this physical universe, but it is:eek:

Is not for lack of trying but the scent of the night is nothing. I can’t bear it. Instead I will sit down for a long meditation sssion and send everyone peace. And may I humbly remind all of us when things get this tense that at the end of the day it’s just distilled agarwood. Value and beauty is in the eye of beholder. Sure we are curious if it is the grade of wood we are smelling to technique and mastery of the distiller or both, but I am coming to peace with the fact that the more I search for this truth the more distance comes between me and my search. Even worse the nasty in us comes out and it stinks.

life is too short. There are real problems and sources of sadness and tragedy around many corners. Let’s not create new ones.

Just arrived .........

Zazen: Absolutely amazing. Smells anything but a cambodi. No Fruits, No Leather, No Tobacco. Instead a marvelous bitter sinensis and cooling aroma. Never could have imagined that cambodian wood can smell like this. It immediately strikes as something entirely different. I really hope that this was not one of a kind gem and @Ensar will be releasing more oils in the same genre at the same amazing price point :p ... will buy each and every one of them InshaAllah

This is the amazing world of Oud.....some oils make you forget everything and some you regret even trying.
Oud Yusuf: God forbid if it was possible to get diabetes just by sniffing sweet stuff, Oud Yusuf would have been a big culprit. Not my cup of tea.

Au Luong (AA) - wow, this one is quite a surprise! Stunningly fresh and bright aroma - I certainly get the orange citrus quality to it - will need quite a bit more time to understand this scent profile, but quite intrigued..

Started my day with Premium Hindi from essentialoilscompany.

Followed-up by some Fragrant Harbor.
All I can say is, I wish there were more Chinese agarwood for our Artisan distillers to make oils with.

Then my final swipe of the day
Inderapura Encens
Just imagine......black resin beautified

Sotd: Fumigation with exceptional incense grade chipw from Zak. It has a creamy vanillic structure non-sweet. The whole room smelled divine so did my shirt. Its still going strong 9 hrs later. I am astonished. It was a small chip that bubbled for 10m on the burner.

Sotn: XLL. Yeah, I submit to it’s greatness. It’s shining bright in the summer humidity. These Oils have some calibre, man. It takes the wearer to unknown Oud realms.

I don’t give a toss to the business of Oud between distillers here from now on till you can produce oils like this. Bite but don’t tear each other apart. We need you.

What a Day !
