@kesiro I ll have to agrew with that dear sir. It doesnt give the spiritual vibes but the sweet oudiness stays on me forever. Amazing projection. It induces fatigue multiple times and I get the reassuring sweet whiffs here and there ! Its one Oud for a chilled out day not a deep contemplative one ;-)

@Nikhil S no confusion for me and I'd think many here have spent time with the dual collections of oud and mainstream/niche perfumery. Dior Homme Intense is one that I never got to try, with all of the vintage vs reform, silver vs black collar and batch code scent differences I never pulled the trigger. I've also tried a few oud/perfume layerings with frags like Clive Christian C Men, Tom Ford Oud Wood, Harrod's Oud, YSL M7 and Creed Windsor.
@kesiro I agree that the oils I've tried from Adam are perfumey with clear distinction and difference in notes from top to bottom.

if you like incense note with in begining rose and dry down oud with a long longevity and good projection the incense note is little bit fresher clear incense not dark
the new project of taha are really good work like kaylani and i heard special k
an advice @kesiro for this price if you like attar like me lol grab it

Sotn Hainan 2005. I haven't sniffed an Oud like this. It has an enormous complexity and comprises of ateast 3 different regional signatures plus that special signature drydown. It is epic. This is EO Magnum Opus for me. And only brother Ensar can create such abstract painting. The opening is the most refined and authentic china incense dark ashtray moss with burmi green accords and the old school hindi leather dna. Haha. Awestruck. The first sniff sends chills down my spine. Feel like kissing hands of Ensar bhai. Drydown is strictly rosewood with a touch of bittergreen kyen to my nose. If I may, I also get the sweet bitter herbaliness of ruh gulab from the lush rose harvest of Hasayan (the most expensive smelling rose people usually think as Kannauj rose) That happens only once a year. So you travel through different timezones through one oil. Wow. A worthy specimen of unlimited value. It's priceless to my humble nose. A dream purchase for me and I will have it someday. This is artisanal Oud.

Sotd: Sultan Leather with AKAF Al Quds. Woof. Complicated. Dark. Melancholic intense. First whiffs give me musk ambergris and oud resin. I was already wearing a heavy attar and then this. This needs time and patience. I am already pushing my receptors. Its old school stuff. The thick base reminiscent of 1950s perfumes with authentic ingredients. Also got my TW95. Today is going to be fun :)

Suffering from a pinched C6-C7 pinched nerve, with shooting pain down my arm. Sure, I am popping some prescribed steroids and anti-inflammatory meds, but a last wipe from my sample of Jing Shen Lu to ago along with it. That minty-floral-green clean freshness........ helps to soothe and calm.

God bless.

On man, I am so sorry to hear that! As I treat these problems for a living, I am familiar with how miserable that is to deal with. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

This morning I applied the incomparable Chiem Po Chai. Such a unique and mesmerizing scent. This is one of 2 oils I have that are in the 'non fruity, non red' Cambodi group. The other is Khmer Special K. I hope the distillers develop this style as it is AWESOME!
