Time to start my Oudication

It is indeed remarkable the thickness and the consistency of Ishaq Oil and that raises a question for Ensar about how that was achieved, of course, without giving up trade secrets; was it a matter of just turning the temperature up or was there other things in play too?

Mystery Oud #10

This is a VERY Dark (light does not pass through the bottle), light weight oil. Very spicy dry smell on opeing the bottle. It applied with a great amber sheen.
I get a very dry wood smell, pepper, clove, lime with what smells like thai chilli's. Cant be Hindi, nor Borneo. This is not sweet like a Cambodian/Thai but I'm leaning more toward Thai at this point.

1HR Very dry wood, grass, and spice. Hints of Lime. I smell this and I think of a spicy asian food dish.

3HR This is a continued dry grass, wood, spice smell. Hints toward a vetiver smell at times.

This Oud oil stayed on this dry wood/spice smell till the very end some 10 hrs later. Incredible profile to the smell. I could come to only one conclusion that it is somehow a Thai Oud but it is by no means sweet! I hope it's not haraam(I don't drink), but in thinking about it I compared this to the difference between a fruity red wine(normal cambodian), and a very dry Champagne. This Oud is somwhat effervescent.

Crassna Cha Experiment

Incredible the difference this Oud has from a normal profile Cambodian/Thai!!!!!

Mystery Oud #11

This Oud Oil is dark amber and light weight.
On opening I am greated with the strongest blast of sharp cheese, chocolate and Kyara wood!!!! Mild spicy grass with only the faintest of a barnyard! It's so much scent info it's like overload!!!!!!
I applied it stayed the same for about 15-30 minutes at which point it settled down(i use that term lightly) to a strong Kyara, chocolate and spicy grass.

1HR This is a transforming MONSTER!!!! Strong Kyara incense, slightly ethereal mint, chocolate and now faint sweet fruit smell. It actuallly has projection also!!! What on earth is this??? Steam Hindi or Thai? Water Papau or Borneo??????

3HR this has gone through so many ups and downs changing it should be called Oud Chameleon!!!!! I can't pin this down but whatever it is, IT IS SOME HIGH GRADE WOOD!!!!!!!!! Still strong Kyara but it is becoming more minty with the grass notes standing more prominent. LOVE THIS OUD!!!!

6HR It is still showing the wonderful Kyara and minty grass with sweet fruit tones.

I am finished for the day 8hrs later and it still holds well. I have no idea what this is.....

Kyara Koutan

Mystery Oud #12

This was a middle-dark amber oud oil lt weight. On opening, I am hit with very strong barn!!!! It waves in and out but wow!!!! Grass, earth, hay, chocolate. It is VERY powerful and Projection is Large!! Love it but others might not......Note to self, don't run out the door right after applying! I maybe should not have said I was hit with very strong barn. It really sort of scares you in a good way like a roller coaster does. It's very hard to explain. Unlike Oud from Ajmal or others that just are flat and lifeless, this posesses a soul and depth that shows a smooth Hindi(it must be!!).

1HR This has shifted to a moist earth, faint barn, marine salt(iodine ish), chocolate(soft not harsh), and a mild sweetness(made me think of custard and plums).

3HR Now a soft smooth Oud oil that instead of shifting seams to weave in and around all of these scents never really having any jump out. Just when I think it is barn or earth it moves to another.

Toward the end of the day this has now become a wonderful earth, hay, faint incense, faint marine/ambergris scent. Quite the journey unfolding layers of calming Oud Oil.

Oud Yunus

FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Mystery Oud #13

This is a dark amber heavy oil. On opening it showed a strong fruit of peaches, pears and plums. A very faint barn with hints of moist earth and light floral notes.

2Hr Now shifted to incense, wood and fruit with what I swear is a lake side or ocean side smell. All rolling around teasing me when I try to pin it down.

I didn't have the time today to really take notes to give this oud a proper reveiw but I can tell you from memory that it has maintained the 2Hr posture throughout slowly working to a faint wood/patchuli with warm sweet honey faintly riding through it.

This has to be a Cambodi/Thai.

Encens d' Angkor

Wonderful Oud Oil and and also a VERY economical "organic oud"! Anyone not buying this and complaining of oud prices is just flat out foolish!!! Show me another oud seller out there putting Oud Oil of this quality at the price point and I will be amazed!!!!!!!

Mystery Oud #14

Mild dark amber color and a light weight oil. On opening very bright and ethereal. It tickled my nose. Lovely Kyara. Strong yet wispy. It feels similar to when you take a breath in through your nose on an ice cold day after stepping outside. Very strong but smooth and peacful.

1HR later this has settled into a strong Kyara with a light wispy "airiness" to it almost like a powder smell but not quite. Faint earth but it is held together by a strong woody Kyara. Love this!!!! Borneo, Papau????

This varied little from the 1HR mark maintaining a wonderful melody. This has such a wonderful depth to it. Very comforting and calming.

Kyara de Kalbar

As I sit in the airport waiting to leave and writing this from yesterday I found myself reaching for this in my bag. Wonderful and calming. Shortly after applying the woman sitting next to me asked what the wonderful smell is!!!! I explained to her and offered a swipe which she gratefully excepted!!! LOL another convert to Ensar OUD!!!!!!!!!!!
