Sure Luigi, thanks for Creating a space for us Oudh adepts and addicts!

My favorite types of funk are Hindis and Cambodis, barnyard and diesel fuel, no fruits allowed.
It is the scent of Prophets and the righteous men alike and all those who like to fumigate the night!
So I wear my Oudh with no arrogance, but with pride, stepping in the room smelling like something has died.
No disrespect to those who like the fruits, the Borneos some Cambodis and Hindis, let's get back to our roots!

No disrespect taken, but I love the fruity ones :)

Cambodis stirs up a very lively mood, which I especially treasure in wintertime ... when I'm longing for spring.

Go ahead Cambi, Permeate the air with fuits my fellow addict!

I have to admit I own a very sweet Cambodi as well, which reminds me of a farmers market on the outskirts of a farm. Fresh air mixed with the sweetness of fresh fruits and veggies and of course the noticeable presence of cattle in the area! That's harmony to my nose.

I love cambodis with a sweet dry down, that sticks to your skin and clothes. I tried Kalakassi at ASAQ here in Kuwait and it was good but I feel overrated, just my opinion. Im due for a new cambo, but I want to try something different

I was sooo pissed at basenotes, they canceled me for life because I was honest about some good oudh I get, I don't work for no one & I didn't bash anyone. They said I was spamming, that was a bunch of crap! Thank you for this new thread hopefully for honest people with honest questions & comments. If you like fruity try Hasan @ oudh.uk's Thia, it's awesome, I guess it got fruity after he had it about 6 mo. I have a 1/2 bottle of his last batch left. I love it, not sure about new batch yet.

Welcome d.dog you don't have to worry about any of that here, just good vibrations and conversations! I have always wanted to try Oudh.co.uk but never pulled the trigger on them, guess there is a reason to now huh lol.

SOS how are the smaller Oudh shops over in Kuwait and are they just an extension of the bigger gulf houses?

Yes Akhee, you mostly get synthetic oud and they all have that similiar dry down note to it and it always gives me a headache(chemicals). Thats why they call me sythetic oud slapper, cause as soon as I smell it, I be like let me see that bottle hold it up riight there "SLAP", across the room it goes lol. The price for this crap is ridiculous to.

Favorite type of funk: For me, nothing has been able to match the deep, intense, and passionate aroma of Indian Oud. In contrast, an Oud with a green kyara note will also drive me wild. But in the end, I always find myself craving the aroma and long-lasting effect of Indian Oud.

Hahaha akhi that is hilarious! What's the cost per tola akhi? I might have a proposition for you in regards to KSSS from oudimentary!
AbuAyoob, do you have any information about the popular KSSS from Oudimentary? Does anyone know when it was distilled? Is it from wild or cultivated agarwood? What is the jungle or plantation from which it comes?

Oudiferous, I believe there are multiple batches of KSSS that were sold at Oudimentary. I originally bought mine almost three years ago and it's a great oil, especially considering how relatively inexpensive it was, but I can't speak to how good the currently sold batch is although I hear it may not be as good as the old KSSS. Try emailing Micah at Oudimentary. He's a super nice guy and takes his time to answer all the questions he's asked.

Thanks Igor. I actually found out from reading Oudimentary's description of KSSS that the first distillation is now 10 years old, and that it is from Aquilaria Malaccencis wood that was over 20 years old when harvested.

Oudiferous I feel you on the Indian ouds, I mean it is the raw power that emanate from them that has my heart! The only sweet Indian oud I have owned is the Haflong I got from agarwoodoil.com a year ago. I ended up giving that oil to one of my teachers and he enjoys it.

My KSSS is from the first stock and is very sweet, I've worn it only about 5 times in small swipes s it it still a full bottle! I prefer an everyday silage monster ASAQ of questionable purity that I can just apply and not feel like the oil is running out haha!
