Use of Oudh in Islamic circles of remembrance videos!

Very beautiful to see Oud in its sacred context, thank you for posting these videos AbuAyoob. I wonder what they are drinking in the second video, some kind of tea?

Yeah, of course there is tea and some good looking coffee being drank. this is the norm for circles of remembrance. When I participated in these circles Oud, tea and coffee were the norm. In the second video the brother leading the recitation in the blue hat and plaid blazer is Sidi Usama Canon, one of the founders of Oudimentary.com so i know that there were swipes of the best oud oil passed around at the beginning!!!

Guys, this is an oud forum, not the place to enter into religious debates. Please keep in mind, many members are not Muslim. They choose to participate and engage in conversation out of a love of oud. Engaging in religious debates makes many people feel uncomfortable on the forum, and less likely to participate. Thank you for your cooperation.

yes / i am sorry for that =)

but may i ask you to delete the messages from abu ayoob as well / i think that would be fair then /
Oud plays an important part in all spiritual traditions, from the Islamic, to the Buddhist, to the Christian and Jewish. We welcome all devotees of each tradition to share their experiences with oud and discuss how oud enhances spiritual practice, which is what Abu Ayoob is doing. He is not propagating the adherence to one tradition over another, only illustrating the use of oud in his own tradition.

You are welcome to share the uses of oud in your personal spiritual practice, and illustrate those uses by videos, articles, poems, songs or anything that will convey the experience.

What is not acceptable is to rebut another member's religious denomination, or to blame and reprove them for it publicly.
