@bhanny spledid lineup, the fourth from the right appears to be in a very different flacon, is it all steel? I'd like to see that. Anyhow, while the display is impeccable, I can't make out all of the names and I don't know what sayeth the gang; that collection belongs in a bank vault. Maybe stored at the Pentagon perhaps? Or in the Smithsonian? Better still would be the Osmothéque in Versailles or even better still unveiled every decade or so alongside Ranjatai and Kou-jin at the Nara National Museum's Shōsōin treasure repository exhibition. Incredible collection of artwork!
Ha! Hello friend. Well..some of them ARE museum worthy. I actually filled this one for the purpose of that picture with oils from our 3 artisans. Sorry to disappoint, but the one you mention is not steel, it might just look that way due to my shotty photography.

However, a big however, this piece of artwork will soon be filled with the true jewels of my collection, my kinam and rare Vietnamese oils. I will commission old kesiro to make me a Sultan holder, a Chinese holder, and maybe a holder for other rarities.

Any thoughts to the type of wood for the Sultans or the Chinese? I'm trying to get Ensar to donate a true kinam log, but that's getting nowhere. My head got fuzzy after the 5th or 6th zero. Maybe he didn't hear the donate part, I'm just not sure.

Well @bhanny I say don't give up hope on the donated Kinam log, I've tried subliminal tactics and still no donated tola of Nha Trang LTD for me. I'm thinking maybe @Ensar will respond better to oud smoke signals, so I'll be sure to put some in the air for your request too:confused:
If anybody else wants something, let me know and I'll get right on it!!!

Yeah, I'm sorry it didn't work, good effort though. Heck, I caught myself set to wire some cash to buy a bottle for you though! I dunno. He's got some jedi-like mind thing going on I think. Or he's purposely saturated my brains kinam receptors or something. So I say go for the oud smoke attack. I have a monkoh burner tough, my friend, no smoke coming from my place! I don't want to put too much pressure on you, but the fate of my genuine kinam-wood kinam-oil-holder rests soley in your hands young Pearl Kyara-walker. May the oudforce be with you.

A stunning wooden display to showcase my v-vials (sturdy glass bottles fit too!) at the next OudFest. I am so happy with it, I'm going to be on his case to make different styles from various materials. This is just awesome! No more wrapping and unwrapping dozens of bottles and having to set up from scratch every time. Even for personal use it works great, minimizing the risk of dropping bottles & taking care of the mess on my dresser. Absolutely brilliant work amigo!
Professional looking work

Hey... so guess what.. I know you're coming to visit me first, but you know what.. I might be taking the same flight to Saigon with you! ;)

So what type of wood are you thinking of, for kesiro to whittle for you? Green kinam, red kinam... or doesn't really matter so long as its a nice solid kilo block of kinam?

Those pictures came out great!
FWIW, anybody that would like something like Ensar's or bhanny's built, I am definitely open to people supplying their own wood BUT...... in order for it to come out right, wood has to be workable. Unseasoned wood warps and cracks, no bueno. Also, some woods may be to hard to tool so there are some considerations.

When Taha sends you his kinam log, simply halve it and make twin holders, one for him and one for his Virginia friend.

Um, yeah, sure. If there is a Kinam log, there will have to be 3 holders made: I have to make one for myself just to be sure it works. :)
