Where are all the Oud lovers?

Community, it takes a village...
While we are all from different backgrounds, ethnicities, nationalities and faiths, we come together with our shared love of Oudh, brotherly love and our sensibility of treating others as we ourselves want to be treated. I pray for Robert, his child and family to have speedy and full recovery from any injury or insult, Ameen

Well, that story just took a much sadder turn than I would have ever imagined... Not only did poor Bobby One get flogged and labeled a 'white supremacist' and sexist pig, the poor guy fell down the stairs while holding his baby girl and is now in the hospital.... That's why he has been unable to post anything all this while. And so he's asked me to send his love and greetings to everyone on his behalf.

Would everyone please join me in prayer for the swift and complete recovery of our friend and his little one, and that they be returned home in complete health and wellbeing.

I miss him, hope things mend quickly for both.

Thank you, everyone.

Reading this slowly now that my phone is found, charged and I am recovering and off the heavy pain juice has been very warming for me.

I appreciate all of your good thoughts to the very fullest, believe me. In the immortal words of Bill & Ted, you are all most excellent.

To clarify what happened, one boy had developed a bad habit of pushing in the playground. While visiting FL I was holding baby girl at the top of a flight of stairs. I remember taking a step and tipping over, holding her close, bounce bounce then the cliché of waking up in hospital.

The guy who saw me take the quick way down said I foetal'd around her as I was doing my best homer simpson impersonation. It must have been pure instinct. She got off with just minor brusing.

I had a nasty knock to the head and two extremely minor spinal fractures as well as my right shoulder and right leg. Thankfully my bones are very strong after years of Ca and vit D supplimentation. Also, after two years of American food I am very well padded too.

It looks like I will be out of here very soon and back up north by hopefully comfy amtrak roomette.

Thankfully my medical insurance will cover everything but a little spare change, I am more fortunate than most in my situation.

Now, I have several pm's here I have to answer then my emails...

Thanks again, friends.

Edit: I really loathe hospital jello. Going to make some decent stuff when I get home as soon as I can face it again.

Food... wow. For what my insurance is paying they could really do better. It must be psychological reinforcement to get the hells out as soon as you can!

That is a scary event Robert! Amazing how things happen in an instant. Thankfully, it sounds like a full recovery is expected. Glad to have you back!
