Wa alaikum as salaam The attar is a completely different composition to the Parfum. Which is why I've discontinued it as it wasn't getting the recognition that I felt it deserved due to people assuming it was one and the same as the spray.

Sandalwood is much hardier than rose brother. It can tolerate curing and airing etc. It’s a lot more complicated than just putting musk in a bottle and pouring sandalwood oil on it. I use lab equipment to do it and it takes weeks. I can’t disclose more than that though. :)

The moisture in musk grains would mean you’d need to cure the maceration. Rose oil would not fare very well if you subject it to the airing and heating required to pull off the arduous process of musk maceration.

You could take that $40 CAD per tola oud and alchemically transmute it into super king agarwood oil. There are severe oud shortages in Canada, from what I understand. Charity never goes to waste. ;)

I have collected every single attar we’ve released recently—Kambodi Blanco, Nero, Musko and now Nha Trang—with the same zeal I’d collect precious drops of rare wild agarwood oil trickling down the condenser tubes.... I am very pleased with the outcomes :)
