He means, why are there no new releases on EnsarOud.com. I think Kyara LTD Centennial was quite recent, as were Qi Nam Khmer, and a few other oils that have been selling privately.

Look forward to the likes of Borneo 3000 (No 1!) and Oud Mostafa and Idrees to be released very soon! :)

Yes, there is one oil I would compare to the original Borneo 3000, yet not from Borneo. Whereas the Oud Mostafa & Oud Idrees successors are from the same jungles as the originals. Each batch is unique, of course, and I do not mean that these are similar in profile, but rather in calibre & quality. All of the oils I am referring to are Vintage LTD releases, whereas Mission Cambodi Kinam is under Oud Legends.

Ensar, Your Mission Cambodi Kinam sounds like the one not to miss, a little out of my range unfortunately, these new Vintage releases sound like they will be great, giving some of us who missed them the first time around a 2nd chance at similar quality. Will they be released in with your other Vintage oils as in $550 each? That will be an excellent end of 2013 & a great start in 2014. Thank you, you always keep me wondering what you have up your sleeve next.

Hi d.dog,
I'm delighted with the quality and profiles of the upcoming Vintage LTD releases, and am sure you will be, too. Yes, they will be priced $550 per 3 grams, as the rest of the LTD Collection.

Thanks Ensar, I certainly will be looking forward to them especially all 3 you mentioned. I always wondered what they were like, I'm sure they're not exactly the same but maybe at least an idea of why they were talked about so much. I see Borneo 3 was mentioned, I had a gram of the 2nd batch, after that sample I still search for similiar. I don't think there will be another Royal#2 either but it's nice to keep searching & find some more beautiful oils, Kalbar 3000, Ishaq, I put some Borneo 5000 on last night for an example, this is an awesome top quality wood used I love the drydown, I still have the wood scent on my wrist.

Oud muana ltd

Unusual, exotic, delicious oud! Not barn , it has a smell something like "flowers'salad with a good olive oil and spices"
Indeed ouds from Buthan and Burma are incredibles !!!

Borneo thaqeel

Borneo Thaqueel is very pleasant! Contains a constant aroma of roses. It's very present with medium diffusion I believe. Have earthy smell and smoke. But are quite light. I used once and it seems to me that the smell of roses beats the smell of Borneo.Yes it is sweet !

I am not sure why all the descriptions I read about Borneo Thaqeel have the mention of rose in them.. I like Abdullah's description though except I would replace rose with vetiver.. So it would be Vetiver, Earthy smell and slight smoky

I wonder why there aren´t more reviews of the new releases. I mean, there´s Kambodi Kadeem, Borneo Thaqeel, Assam 3000, Oud al-Kaabah; and ZBH Oud and Hindi Brut along with Sweet Siam and Cantik Candan -- but apart from a few words here or there I haven´t seen anything in terms of reviews.

Is no-one buying anymore? Or are people too shy to post their impressions?
Don´t be shy - we all are eager to learn from your postings!

Oud Mostafa

Potent, addictive and smelling of salt oud. I detected the smell of floor wax or candle scent, very good! There is a touch of chocolate and herbs. All well marked and well placed in their places. Surely there is the spicy character, which I liked a lot and it is constant at least up to about 18 hours. When you recognize what is Oud Hindi? Since the beginning because the smell of old wood has animal character. Not have fecal character and not the character barn.
Last long in the skin. All notes are delicious !!!!!

Oud al Kaabah

Before opening the bottle I could clearly feel berries and honey. Then I smell the hand I recognized the smell of blackberries, in the first minutes.
Velvety and pleasant fragrance.
Imagine Yusuf Oud more "purple" and more powerful ... very rich !!!!!!!
A suitable substitute for Oud Yusuf!

Oud Kambodi Kadeem

Camphor, burnt wood, green, floral, medicinal, mineral and incense!
It has a little sweetness. Has moderate power. Its yellowish color increases the willingness to use it!
It seems that is a fresh oil. Perhaps 1 or 2 more years, he may be even better!
It's a very different oud medicinal aroma, surely he enriched my collection !!!
