I have had mixed results with ethanol and crassna agarwood; the scent always seems a bit off; it just smells weird. On the other hand, I’ve had amazing results with sandalwood ethanol extractions. I have no idea why.
If you did decide to try this Ensar, I’d be very intrigued of what you observe and experience
Not sure about that specific reasoning. If I had to choose between a kilo of Platinum or a Kilo of Ethanol if I was in the wild and had potentially infected wounds, bites and stings then Ethanol it is!
Famous saying: "Go into any room in your home and tell me of the most precious thing there.... (answer given) No, wrong, it's the Oxygen!"

I couldn't care less about Platinum to be honest, but if I had to choose between Kinam and the ethanol in that scenario, give me the Kinam. I'll heal my wounds with Kinam oil later.
I have never smelled real Kinam/Kyara but I have smelled Ensar's original Kyara Ltd. which was mind blowing and I regret selling long ago.
I also have some of Taha's "Kinam" oils. Vietnam Special K being the most amazing of them all. I know none of these have real kinam in them but kinam must be some amazing stuff if it smells anything like these oils.

kinam itself is multi faceted and not just about the scent but intensity and texture fo the scent. is hard to explain. you need to experience it first hand. stick to highly trusted sources to procure your kinam experience. and remember that even 0.1 gram of a real kinam can be further spliced into a good 5-10 different mon koh sessions! seriously 1/4 of grain of rice is enough to have a aha moment
