What are the best oud chips you've ever tried ? Mine were from a fish and chip shop in SE England, doused with pungent malt vinegar and liberally sprinkled with salt :)

Seriously, what are the best oud chips you've ever burned ?

I got introduced to aloeswood about fifteen years ago. Working my way up, I used to burn a lot of Baieido, for example their Supreme sticks (such as "Koh-En"). Then I switched to their chips: Sandalwood, Kokonoe, Tukigase, Ogurayama. As of today the Baieido stuff is mostly used for my own incense-stick making. I have created several sorts of nicely-smelling sticks (which I sometimes give to friends, as birthday presents for example). I still have a lot of different sorts of sticks and chips, nearly all from either Baieido or Shoyeido - but they all pale in comparison to Ensar´s chips...

Since I discovered Ensar´s website, the stuff I put the most on my burner are Chanthaburi and Khao Yai. I use these for my meditations and prayer sessions. The stuff is soooo good, and rarely a day goes by without me burning at least a splinter of it.
