White kinam aka Borneo diesel again.

The oriscent signature is evident. Traces of kyara Ltd. felt in this oil. Vietnamese to the max yet fully both feet planted in malinau. An oil that leaves me breathless speechless and motionless. Total couch lock. A magical cocktail of mandarin orange creamsicle, most beautiful cinnamon, open knit yet very dense at the same time. Packs quite the upper cut and delivers a knock out each and every time for me.

Energy wise I enter a unique state of mind with this oil: fully awake and alert yet bubble head and mellow.

I went for sultan Salahuddin

After three mega sultans in past few days: beyazit, Abdul hamit and suleyman earlier this evening, it was time to put the youngen, newest sultan to test.

Results:
1) no. It doesn’t belong in that league. But is not far off at all. Older Teenager amongst younger men.

2) it does have that sultan signature and specially 20 second or so after application. Even at over an hour or more in, the heart is glowing. That gp in a tuxedo note, BUT: drier. Les. Sweet basically. Less spicy. Instead replaced by incredibly bitter green dense rich note that is the signature of sultans plus that vapoury buzz inducing fuzzy quality in likes of kinamantan, midori and many other excellent Borneo.

Do you find it to be more quiet or closer to the skin than others? Or is it just me? @Rasoul S
That intense green heart/base note is marvelous

Abdus selam was certainly quieter and would sit closer to the skin. Salahudin is not suleyman or Ahmet but I wouldn’t say sit close to skin. But I know what you mean. I would put it above average in that departmen though.

Happy Jummah / Friday, brothers and sisters....
Chugoku Senkoh was helping me through the damp sludge of the day, earlier on. It’s was an invitation to the Sinensis penthouse that penetrates the clouds. Instant sunshine, and now, it’s manifested at ground level.

Today’s sale sees the brief return of Chugoku Senkoh and Suriranka Senkoh to the shop. These are potent vitamins for those suffering for a lack of sunshine. Seriously consider getting them while you can.

So bang on and what a terrific imagery. I think (wink wink nudge nudge) fellow vendors should do a competition for the best review of the quarter wins a gram of an oil of their choosing. Wouldn’t that be grand?
Waaaaaait a sec.......knowing that you write very nice, comprehensive, and thoughtful reviews, are you trying to set yourself up for freebies in the future? o_O

I write with the brain in the driver seat. Left hemisphere.
You write from the heart and the belly. The Romance and the journey is felt differently and more enjoyable if u ask me. I don’t have that gift though.

Morning session
* A flight of espressos
* Brahms SQ No.1.
* Oud Musa: Part of what I call the Hidden Hindi Trilogy from Ensar, along with Shuayb and Hud. A spirited opening blooms into refinement and luxury.
All 3 are essential sampling for fans of the "hindi" style and region.

Can anyone give their account of Oud Shibli?
Haven't tried this one yet.

Brahms, Bruckner, and Schubert are the sonic accompaniments of Oud. Perhaps the partners of your Hindi Trilogy.

But where does that leave the almighty Yunus?! LvB perhaps?

Single greatest oil I have had from agar aura (and that says a lot as I have many favorites) is royal malinau.

Tonight I wore a healthy swipe of it and left this earth. I was away for a couple hours yoga practice But, it felt like I was gone for 5 minutes. What a trip. What an oil.

Right after Nha Trang and this damn maluku wood that has cast a spell on me (combo of the iris, orris butter scenting one and the red resin unlike anything one), malinau is the holly grail for me. Ok I have to throw hk sinesis in there and few others but seriously the point is malinau is a very very very special place. A really outstandingly good malinau is this one and white kinam aka Borneo diesel. This is gone, don’t let WK get passed you too specially at the generous kind offer. For me though as much as I love Both and as tight of match up it is, there is a soft spot for me and royal malinau forever. Like a first love. But that damn vietnam kinamic unique oriscent signature is surely a scent to behold.
