I am craving China Sayang but DHL wont be coming until Wednesday!!

Bushido from JK is my SOTD. Feeling like a samurai today, LOL.
I wanted to try Bushido & Aziz Attar but they were sadly out of sample sizes for the most part.

Have you reviewed them anywhere?

FO: Blue Malayu

Just swiped a moment ago, will compose my review as it happens in the usual place.

It's really visually aquamarine tinged.... how unusual is that?

Today is the day of 'Borneo Adventure' ... swipes from Borneo 2000+Borneo 5000+Borneo 50k tincture in a v-vial which I made a few days ago & this one is AWSOME!

I should probably announce that I managed somehow to obtain from a forum member here that I will keep anonymous but with many thanks

EO...

Wait for it...

Royal Kinam & Kyara LTD.

And they are going to be reviewed by me in a very, very long time from now.

I'm just staring at them, turning them in my fingers like a jeweller would do with an uncut diamond of the first water while experiencing Blue Malayu.

I have had these for days but I have not even dared to open them for a brief tease yet.

I think I will need to experience many other Ouds before I really appreciate these priceless gems.

Or would I?

What would you fellow reviewers suggest?

Oh my. Congratulations Sir! How in the world did you attain Royale Kinam? That was my 3rd Oud I bought from Ensar back in 2009. Bravo!
You must have paid serious $$ for those.

You might very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment.

These are the only Ouds that I will selfishly never offer a single swipe to anyone. Also, make me an offer for them and no matter how many zeroes anyone quotes one single zero will be the chance of me parting with them.

But as to my question, should I attempt a coherent review now or later after sampling many more Ouds?

If they are in sampling vial, I would suggest you sample them now before oxidation kicks in and gave you an inaccurate scent profile.

Tough call Robert. For kooolaid, I believe they are the fabulous 2nd versions. I agree with Oud_Learner. While you may not be able to fully grasp the magnitude of what you are actually experiencing, I would most assuredly give them a go. These are rarities few get the honor of sampling. Just my opinion.

@RobertOne I made the mistake of revering my legends samples a little too much. I once applied Borneo 50k for the most important meeting of my life and left it after that. Now it is sadly oxidised.

I think if you approach it with the respect it demands, and with a still mind and soul, you cannot go wrong. Don't make my mistake!

Many blessings to you sir, and I hope it is a wonderful experience.

Just as soon as I finish my FO series of reviews I will review them both here.

I still have Din Dang, Lee Lawadee and Piara to review in that series, so it's going to be at least Friday.

I am certainly enjoying the difference in aesthetic and am even more keenly looking forward now to Agar Aura, Agarwood Indonesia, Al Shareef Oud, Imperial Oud and Sultani Oud roughly in that order.

Actually, it's going to be a journey that is it's own reward. I might never have considered enjoying the crown jewels so soon if not for the Blue Malayu, so thank you once again, Adam.

Today I put on the beautiful Aroha Kyaku in the anticipation of the new Dhul Q. It opens with a smoky incense aroma at first and then the sweet greenish smell which comes later. I always will keep AK close to me for any given occasion.
