The beautiful Hainan 2005 for me right before going to sleep. Can't say much about this magnificent oil. Truly sweet, citrusy, and tangled in some addictive medicinal way which one can't keep away from their nose. One of the best oils, I have ever come across. Sweet hainan dreams everyone.

Today I put on the beautiful Oud Mustafa 5. Beautifully crafted from top to bottom. This is a Oud, which you want and should keep close to you at all times. It puts a smile on my face each time I put this beautiful oil on. A true masterpiece!

Yes, yes, and YES! This is an oil I cherish as much as any of my Kinam's despite its very modest price. To me it's perfect.

This was meant to be posted yesterday..

Two Vietnamese with significantly different scent spectrums, both totally gorgeous.

1. Kynam No1. This is when it all began. Graduate studies I was told. Man I had no idea. Opened my eyes, almost woke up a part of me I never knew existed. My kinam receptors had finally been activated.
2. Guallam Solide. Vietnam with a little Laos. Focus is set more on the sweet/sour/bitter interplay @5MeO was talking about earlier with Royal Vietnam. This delicious pseudo-pungent scent spectrum, is one of the few that will get a check box on bhanny's frequent flyer rotation, that is for sure.

Behind in reporting again.

Yesterday was Vietnam part 2.
1. Kinam Rouge - EO. Such a deep and complex scent. It is happiness in a bottle for me.
2. Royal Vietnam - FO. A beauty by Adam along the Guallam Solide spectrum. Sweet and sour. A bit bitter. Lovely.

Last night.
1. Piara - FO. Borneo and Malaysian blend. Not sure if there is some Papuan in there as well. Incredibly well balanced and delicate. Pulls out some of the elements I like most in Borneo and Malaysian oils.
2. Borneo 5000 - EO. Under-appreciated jewel with a pedigree thats tough to compete with. I love how this goes back and forth between an airy, vanillic breeze and buttery, honeyed woods.

SOTD - nothing!! I came down with an upper respiratory infection/common cold and can't smell a damn thing, let alone breath through my nose - oh the suffering!

Before my nose completely malfunctioned though I was able to take a sniff of the new Indian oil from Agar Aura - "Kalyani" - this one is just incredible! It's one jewel after another with the Indian oils by Taha..

Whenever I want to change oud-mood _ I take a bath & use shampoo to wash my hair-beard-skin thoroughly. Then apply a new one.

Tonight I am in a majestic mood ... So I'd like to wear Oud Sultani(EO).

... Just did & feeling ahhhHHHHHHHHAAAAaaaaa ... That's what I call MAJESTIC! It is OUD! Kingdom in my inner-self.

Oud Nuh. Wow is all I can say. When you have that Hindi craving, this is as satisfying as it gets. Just a killer complex multifaceted oil. It is so deep and rich. Just beautiful.
I heard so many good things about Oud Nuh but what was unable to purchase or smell it. Maybe one day I will be able to smell it and get lost in its beauty. Mr @PEARL says that's his favorite Hindi. I don't doubt that after people like yourself say it's a multifaceted Oud and is beautiful. I am getting goosebumps thinking about that right now. Wow just wow. Congratulations on having that beauty in your collection Sir!

Hey Koooooool! Any chance of meeting up in San Diego the week of the 15? You can experience some of these yourself if you can. Have a great night!

This was my SOTD. The toxic death that is pumped into the lungs of every law abiding resident of Singapore who opts to take Uber or Grab rather than drive his own vehicle..........

Followed by a lavish swipe of Kynam No 1.

This morning 6 large tola bottle swipes of FO OST as roborant on my beardy bit.

End of a large part of my life today.

Kids now part time in daycare, thankfully they all adjusted well after the first half hour. I'm going to be fully back on the market in a few months.

Fintech QA hopefully, software testing of any kind if not...

Alternatively I am tempted to apply as a 'Pipette Boy' for an Oud artist. Shackled to an ohaus for 36 hours a day being fed only the floor sweepings of pastries and small half-devoured chunks of roasted lamb, licking the condensation off the workbench for moisture, clad in a worn labcoat...
