Sunday Swipe : Agarwood Assam - Kalakassi Naga this oil is aging really well and now the barn has reduced substantially allowing top smokiness, chocolate notes to be more evident ....

Blended this with Top Grade Taif Rose by ASAQ which I picked up during my Hajj pilgrimage last year from Mecca ...

I was sniffing this and that of my Hindi oils and the one which struck me the most was EO Assam Wilde. Was smelling the best it ever had. So much so that I brought it as an accompaniment with Aroke Roshi for the west coast boys to revisit. SO GOOD!
I was honestly baffled at the notes coming out, the change in temp really does wonders on opening their profiles up.

I feel like I've just discovered what Hindi oud is all about... I've really been missing out all this time, and now it's getting out of hand... Yesterday I slathered an armful of Khus d'Afrique on, along with a dab of Oud Musa, and dekha, just like that the whole world was fragrant, an incredible synergy, a match made in heaven!

I'm going to have another go, this time with the El Slavador Vetiver which is darker in tone, and see how it goes...

I've always preferred Indian oud outdoors as they tend to blossom there, and in the sun they're the sweetest but the recent experience was profound. Can't wait to explore them a bit more. Oud Shibli's on my radar, as I think it'll have some interesting facets emerging from it's already bright profile.

Its EO Peoples Pursat for me today
I'm really amazed by the experience today of this oil... from the typical Cambodi woody woody vibe dont know why I pick up some mint note?

I'm really enjoying this oil today may be its GOT S8E3 or Avengers End Game in the last 24hours but the mood seems uplifted [emoji23]

Night Swipe : AA Royal Jerai

This indeed is turning into a beast I've swiped this after 4 weeks and I can clearly see how this oil is settling in all other compound interacting with each other and taking this oil to a whole new level...

No wonder Taha has released this last weekend... so tempted to get a bigger size [emoji7]

How would you compare that note to Tamarind? Would you say they're similar?
Adam I remembered I had to get back to you on this one when I wear Royal Jerai.

My nose really doesnt see any comparison or similarites to Tamarind, but its surely Cola though the strength has reduced now but I'm enjoying this new Cola note for now.

At the end of a very challenging day... it’s time to celebrate! Two generous swipes of EO Oud Royale gets the party happening. Here’s my note breakdown:
Top: animalic citrus, menthol mint, buttermilk, iris, lavender.
Heart: eucalyptus, frankincense, tobacco.
Base: camphor, petrichor, mimosa, ambergris, santal.
The overall profile colour is dark blue-green.
