But truly the atmosphere created by some well-wishers before a new release is simply one that doesn't suit any society of intellectually gifted men.
Would you be willing to expand on this? I do not understand it from the context of ORSL comments which were all made here by people, myself included, who purchased it following release.
And I heve personally viewed and/or read numerous reviews/comments you made about various oils prior to their release. Oud Haroon and Arem Sung come to mind, but there are more.

I will not praise an oil simply because it is according to my taste or need or low price bracket.
But you will clearly denigrate it by some of those standards?
Now do not get me wrong, we all have our preferences and non-preferences. That's cool and appropriate. But your post reads like you are letting your own personal preferences determine the oil overall and potentially influencing others from experiencing it who would/do care for such a profile.

IMO, Oud Royale Sri Lankan is some of the finest Oudh from the jungles of Sri Lanka. It’s beyond magical and if you let it sit for some time, the aging will do wonders. Suriranka Senkoh is the future. That was said by Ensar himself. This Oud is simply special.
You have to first like the Walla Patta notes to even consider SR oudh to be of some caliber. By the sounds of it, you truly hate and dislike Walla Patta notes.
If that were the cast why buy Oud from the region, you hate and detest?
This is Oud. This doesn’t require a tragedy to happen for an artist to come up with its beauty. Let that be romance, gifts, or a favor.
Oudh was worn by the beloved companions of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and favored by Him also.
You have belittled an artist calling his newly release oil, mediocre.
Your comments are truly offensive and condescending and frankly doesn’t fit well for a surgeon to use those kind of words.
Your way of thinking does not match mine. We can disagree like gentlemen. This post was not intended to create chaos. Sorry mate but I think you are over reacting and in a very crude manner. Its nothing new for you I believe. I read your vile rant following a few gaharuan s post in colored fonts. Its a surprise that you bring the surgeon angle too. My post was so decent. Why did you jump in ? Are you the moral police here ? I love Ensar like everyone else. A religious man behaving in such a difficult manner ! Weird. Sorry, Ensar brother I never thought I would be treated this way. You know exactly what I wrote in my post atleast. I hope you get my message.

Brother Phil. My post is very clear and I have mentioned the same thing. I dont like Wallapatta aroma. I also mentioned no one should get misled by my take on the oil. You are always welcome to give a counter opinion on my findings. You are a sensible man. Whats wrong in my post ? Its a strong opinion. Thats all. I shall refrain from posting from now on. This was a mistake. A grave one. I respect and hold Ensar in extremely high esteem. Where have I bashed his oil or him ? Or have we become extremely paranoid of strong opinions ? I hope you will ponder upon my post. You are the last person I would expect to judge a post the wrong way. Cheers.

Hey Nikhil, I am trying not to judge at all. I am just trying to understand what your comments meant as I found them difficult to follow.

Thank you. I was merely commenting upon a few things:

1. I/We sometimes get overexcited for something new. I/we always expect miracles. And we end dissappointing ourselves at the end.

2. We need to challenge artists. To create a vaccum. So that they never stop to work it to their max potential. Negative motivation anyone ?

3. I have actually very positively highlighted the facts why people will love this oil. LOL

4. I found it similar to Sri Lankan by Feel Oud. Is that offensive in any way ?

I was trying to be poetic. Not an asshole. Hahaha. Thank God you possess the patience and literary inclination to understand the correct emotion behind the post ! Cheers.

PS: Why do people hate surgeons ;-) ?

Well that clarifies a lot, thanks! That explanation makes sense and is helpful. Regarding surgeons? You gotta be a nut to be one, I think.:D

Hahahaha. Thank you being a positive force on the forum. Have a good day/night. Would love to hear your thoughts on ORSL and if possible its relativity with SL Artisan. Same quality dust ? Steel pot influence ? Or lack of subtle observations on my part. Cheers. And, I dont know if I should point out but Koolaid seriously needs a Koolaid. No offense meant.

i care hence this post. if i didnt care about this community i wouldnt even bother saying anything. so please keep this in mind before reading the following.

i too humbly think this reply is an over-reaction to nikhil's post. whats wrong with agreeing to disagree as kesiro put it. i strongly think the lack of traffic and lack of new members on this forum is due to the way some criticism is handled. as a moderator you have certain responsibilities. attacking an individual (not their post, cause their profession was brought up to the mix) is not cool. i ask the collective moderator community to edit this and enforce stricter forum rules.

i am tremendously disappointed. once again oud is dividing as opposed to uniting.

Br Nikhil, I am sorry for my rant and my post. I expect better of myself and should be careful in the choice of my words. You are always honest in your opinions, and I try to be straight forward also. Though my approach could and should change. Once again, I am truly sorry if I hurt your feelings.
bravo. 10x bravo. ty for this @kooolaid79. it means a lot to me. i appreciate this.

scent of the night last night:
first proper wear of EO chugoko senkoh.
very very quiet meditative and inward oil. in a good way. i love how even when i wear it on my mustache i have to still bring my lips closer to my nose to really get a good whiff. not the same but i kept getting reminded of taha's lavanya oil which is a nagaland. i would get teeny tiny clean barn notes in the senkoh (surprised as i thought it would have zero) but so little that i can actually find this note as an added complexity and a nuance rather than soemthing that takes over. 1 in 20 whiffs shows something burma (ala imperial oud konbaung. terrific oil imho btw and i think all fans of balanced, quietter, subtle and nuanced oils should seek out) and something china/hainan in it. but ever so gentle. 95% hindi DNA to my nose and based on this first proper impression.

scent of this morning:
alkhadra clementine barat.
hmmm, i get salted fish and tin can notes that previously i got in a milder and slightly different way. the fish note now was previously perceived as oceanic walla like notes. and the strong tin can note now was previously very mild stainless steel note (in fairness brother malik said the SS pot smell needs time to go away). anyways, there is lots of beauty behind these two notes, but for now and this AM i found it too much to handle. off it went and instead i went for a fumigation of some hindi chips of quite awesome grade from zak of agarwood assam. my clothes are scented with beautoful proper smores made at camp fire. roasted sugars, chocolate, cinnamon/nutmeg and other warm sweet spices along with a faint smoky woody note. super incency. but nice on a very very cold day here in vancouver.

best of season to all.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand, back to our regularly scheduled program. Getting back to the ORSL. It has been interesting for me since I have applied it daily since I got it. The second day, the oil was different then the first, and today it is more like the first day. Not sure what's up, but I suspect it has something to do with skin chemistry, surgery scrub days, etc. Although the travel shock, temperature and environmental acclimation may also be at play. The second day the oil took on a much more cucumbery element then the first day. More bitter, less sweet. Today, those notes are very, very toned down and a beautifully rich and deep walls patta incense prevails with a integrated blue green sweetness. The drydown has been beautiful. This is definitely a more oudy concoction. Definitely high quality wood IMO and I suspect it will improve with time. No proof of that, but it just feels like it will. Those looking for the more airy and delicate Sri Lanka experience may not prefer this one. Those that are looking for a walla patta with some balls, this will do just fine.

@Nikhil S Bhai and Sidi Abdul Wahab(@kooolaid79), one I know through writing and one I know personally. I believe that the two of you, in my experience, are much more similar than dissimilar, both very passionate, both honest men that shoot straight from the hip, sometimes because of that there is absolutely no filter but I also feel that there is absolutely no malice in intent; fiery passion and a little hotheadedness, yes but nothing malicious. And the grievance was acknowledged like men. Insha'Allah we can move forward and make it a lesson and a blessing. Up like seven.

@Rasoul S yes, @kesiro's walla pasta does sound nice but I'm in the mood for a bibimbap bowl, bulgogi over friend rice with kimchi to be specific.

The wise man speaks to bring a cheer. Now we have brother @Rasoul S too. All hope is not lost. The show must go on. And I shall resume my place as the curtain guy. It suits my job best. Hahaha (Does the guy have a name btw ?)

Hear hear Pearl-san. Damn, that is making me hungry. I have made it personal mission of my will and resolve to not eat any of the pounds of chocolate, cookies and other holiday crap sitting in my office which I have been gorging on all week. But I am starving because there is nothing else. Wait, I found my secret stash of bee pollen. Will have to do.

Regarding Chugoku Senkoh being quiet, I've had the opposite experience, in fact in a prior post I said it may be too strong(if ever an oil can be that). I've titrated the dosage down and it's still very diffusive and projects like crazy. I've worn it the past few days with an equal sized swipe of Oud Yunus beside it and not only does it compete and hold its own, for the first ~3 hours it dominates. With what you see as clean barn notes, I see no fermentation smell but there is a quality that gives the oil a density and challenging yet totally agreeable element that you find similar in barn Hindi oils.
@kesiro if anyone wants to know beyond doubt if their cooking is good or if people think they keep a clean house put food in the doctors break room. If it’s gone it’s good, if not it’s not or you’re dirty.
