I was planning on AOMEG this evening as well, but instead: two eyedroppers full of oregano oil down the throat to stave off a cold.
Upon exhalation, I can fool anyone within 5 feet that I'm entirely composed of pasta sauce. My olfactory system will retire this evening without a bedtime snack….. perhaps a few swipes of extra virgin olive oil would be complimentary?
What Ensar said... phytochemicals have proven beneficial properties and Ionic Zinc really is a hammer for the cold virus, linkage below.

Today my scent is basically everything I can lay my hands on, I'm hitting the (scent) bottle in a big way as in 2 days it's me and all my kids in a tin can with wings all the way to Keflavik and after a short layover Schipol to live there for almost 6 months because boss-lady found a job there.

Sometimes I just have to laugh at what life in the anthropological personification of a monkey throws at me.

I may be AWOL for a while, but I am certainly going to try and get back as much as I can. Oud in isolation is wonderful but discussion here often illuminates my day beyond swiping.

Back to the thread topic. Sultan Abdüs Selam. A very hearty hat tip to our own Shabby for his generosity of sending me a sample of this one. To me this is a very uplifting and happy oil. It is not necessarily very bright smelling but certainly conveys a bright sunny mood. It immediately can change my mood, and always for the better. On my skin it does not have all day lasting power, but for the time it lasts, it is a beauty.
@kesiro Thank you for validating my private thoughts on Sultan Abdus Selam. I too find it to be a very happy oil, uplifting and quite playful. Sweet cola, oceanic saltiness, agarwoodiness :) That probably does not make any sense but that's what I have come up with.
Feeling even happier. I've ordered a full bottle of that one & it is on the way ...;)

I am glad I am not the only that thinks that!!

This morning I continued the Hindi Oudh and applied the beautiful Yoshi. What a smooth and beautiful Oudh this is. I wonder how it would taste because of it seeming to be edible. Thank you @Ensar for producing this Oudh and thank you @PEARL for this lovely gift!!

Also on a side note, today I was blessed with another gift and that was the holy Oud Nuh. On par with the Assam Kinam. This oudh is very special and should not be shared yet @PEARL he was so kind to send me some. Thank you and Jazakallahu khairan again Sidi @PEARL!!

Agree with all. I get more from this oil. A subdued titular kind of bitterness and also kinam. I also see whispers of walla patta. Is beautiful stuff. If I was forced to pick a personal scent to live with for a long time this would be it. Sultan Ahmet is too powerful. Kenmei too lithe. Abdus selam just right.

Day...Sultan Abdüs Selam
Night...Ayu
Late night...side-by-side of Syed's Ascent and Xiang Liao Ling. Both are flowing Filaria rivers, SA floats with some sweet powdery floral, and XLL floats with some bitter resinousness. Excellent oils, It boils down to personal preference, and mine in this case is the bitter resinousness.

Apologies in advance to mods for my minor detour for a second:
@Royal Bengal Oud @Ensar @RobertOne ; thank you for your kind recommendations and well wishes.

@Royal Bengal Oud : I'll give the black seed oil a try, brother! From what I've read, it looks essential.
@RobertOne : good recommendation, thank you!
@Ensar: You are pretty spot on with your analysis, do my purchases of late represent someone in need of an immune boost? o_O
My immune system is fried-out, although in my case, I'm rundown due to stress and exhaustion, but a better diet might help, as well as a 6 month oud sabbatical :D. Does kimchi count as fermented food? I'm devouring quite a bit these days. Otherwise, I'd like to think I eat pretty well; no junk food, always fresh food. Perhaps we can discuss at another time, you seem to take good care with what you eat.

Anyways, back to regular threading.....

SOTMorning:
Sultan Abdüs Selam for me as well! I like the group swipes that happen here sometimes!
Finally, I got a chance to try this, so out for a walk I went this morning in the fresh air, armed with a few fresh swipes of SAS on the neck and under my chin.
When the cold air hit me, the vapours sprung to life and immediately felt disoriented. I could smell winter, but also got a whiff of this tropical oceanic vibe that others have mentioned. A warm breeze flowing one way, and the cold air flowing another. A beautiful experience. Worlds collided, and my mind wasn't sure if I was on vacation somewhere warm or actually bundled up and marching into the crisp slap of winter. I loved this oil from the first sniff, and I can't wait to test it again indoors with proper focus. According to me ;), anyone enamoured with the profiles of Archipelago and Green Papua wanting a next-level experience ought to give this a try. (Yes, wait for that dry-down!)

Mine too ! That's DELICIOUS ... :p

E.O : Basic Kinam -
top note Plum profile and cherries and beautiful berries from another planet . soft Smoky note but not harsh at all.
Middle Note : Pure Incense and spiciness is arising
Dry Down Base : pure Spice ,. like a classic Cambodian spiciness , and florals are still dancing

Assamugo Senkoh this evening. This is just a spectacular oil. Nuff' said. If Yoshi and Chugoku Senko had a love child, this would be it. The combination of those 2 is greater then the sum of the two individual oils. Simply an astonishing oil. If people thought Chugoku had an addictive quality, this one easily tops it for me.
