@Kruger merci beaucoup mon ami, I can sense the relationship between Camasa and Sumi Naga, but I don’t personally get the scent textural darkness and dark dried fruits of Zachariyya in Camasa like resident Hindi Guru Taherg does. I get less raisin, prune, black fig or bay leaf and much more golden sultana and light, moist tobacco, which are notes I see more of in oils Iike Chamkeila and China Sayang. Taherg and I have compared many oils and I’d say our palates do differ, with his being way more diverse than my own.

Bruneian Hues by HOM with a swipe of HOM Taifi. I really love what they do. Beautiful rose oils. Such clarity and rosey oomph. Even the Brunei oil has a hint of soft rose soft velvety green oud. Amazing stuff. And you can order a lot at these price. Bravo HOM !

I really like the HOM Ward Al Ta'ifi too and as you say, it's a very reasonable price.

Cheers to you, @Nikhil S. I'd just like to say that I think you've been like a breath of fresh air to the oud scene with your genuine love and passion for oud oil. I for one really appreciate that, so thank you :)
Thank you very much sir. So very kind of you. I am trying my best to understand the complex world of Ouds. I learn a lot from all the oud lovers here. I just think my learnings are too basic and I need to step up my game before I come and eat others head here. Hahaha. My best wishes to you. Just swiped some XLL. Trying to understand it better.

Fajr swipe : Oud Yoshi
First trial of this, and I'm imagining a beautiful cousin of Oud Yusuf, but instead of expanding into florals, it detours towards a slightly warmer wood note with a lime zest jewel on the crown. Keeping my eyes on this one, it's a beauty full of optimism.

Choco Borai Extreme. Or as I like to call it, 'monster soak'. I think Adam said the wood soaking time on this was 5 months!!! This was the funkiest concoction I ever tried when I first got it and it was YOUNG at that time. Initially is had this fermented chocolate milk scent, which, as you may imagine, is more for the 'experienced' oud enthusiast. Well this oils has really settled down and is developing a much more balanced animalic profile. Not offensive in any way. More incensy. I am really digging it!

Hey Simla! Congrats! Yoshi is just a great oil. My daughter who was 12 when I got it, also loved it instantly.
