Today I felt like something simple, so I’m wearing Agarwood Assam Mysore Classic. The last time I wore this it was very light and fleeting. Let’s see if it’s the same experience this time. If it is the same, I’m going to take my half tola and pour it over some grains.

Sandalwood is the perfect reset button. Macerate it with some white ambergris, gently heat and age and baaaam. It can give some oud a run for its money.

How do you like it? Tried bahadur or alamgir too? Imperial naga is a bit too guava jam, lychee and sweet for me. Bahadur is lovely. If you like naga oils try and hunt down some of tahas lavanya or kalyani for the least sweet and most elegant, fruit tobacco dominant note or Ensar’s naga3k for arguably the finest balance of all the many facets of agalocha grown in this area. The honeybush tea notes and pipe tobacco suggestions are lovely.

My experience with Naga Ouds is more intense bro with Oud Naga, Meite, Kalakassi Naga from Agarwood Assam .... where the opening is full throttle barnyard with smokiness and tobacco in the dry down...

Naga Imperial has a typical IO opening with more sweetness in the opening ... thought get the tobacco and may be some black tea note in the dry down ... it's a bit different view on Naga oil ... I would surely love to try the Agar Aura and Ensar one ....

Naga oils I have tried were all on the friendlier sweeter more approachable one. Happy exploring :)
