What's this baby like Mr. Kooolio?
This is a organic burmese distillation Adam did a few months back. A very nice light oud. It has a sweetness and the funk is unlike Indian funk (although I love indian funk) but rather very smooth. The overall smell is very beautiful and I would say light to medium heavy. The silage is medium. You have to put a good swipe on for it to last for a few hours. Overall I am very pleased with this Oudh and am glad I have it in my collection.

Lately I find myself exclusively wearing Oud during my down time in the evening, and most specifically at night while laying in bed as I read on my laptop before snoozing snoring :p I have found this to be very calming and serene. It's just something that has emerged organically. In my mind, therefore, this thread has become SOTN, or scent of the night.

Tonight, I wanted to dial up the serenity and peace... so I turned to my recently acquired sample of Pursat 2005. You guys were not kidding, this one is so smoooooth and gentle. I am currently riding on a cloud of plush sweetness while laying on my plush bed. :D Does anyone pick up on sweet sweet TONKA BEAN? I love it. It's gonna be a seamless transition to Zzzzzzzzz tonight.

So far no need for any serious 'moderating', but say letg get this thread back on track after that detour.

L'Essetiel Cambodgien and Tukusen Tai. I am going AA until Taha gets better. The Cambodgien is such a nice daily Oud. Medicinal white flowers with some twists. Anybody else got their hands on this one???

Thinking of Taha also when I put on a hefty swipe of Sultan's Succor this morning!

Cambodgien proves that an oil can be enjoyable even when it is chock-full of auxiliary notes. But don't be fooled, without a "University of Oud Graduate" behind the pot, your auxiliary notes might amount to a muddled palette of scent:confused:

Today, I'll swipe the Craftsman's Inderapura Encens.
Anybody for a Malaysian Super King opening:rolleyes:

K Rouge....
I have a new-found appreciation for this oil.
My Vietnamese chips used to consist of only old stock Baieido Hakasui and Ogurayama, but now I have 4 more types, and in-turn can pick out more Raw Agarwood Chip notes out of K Rouge:):)
