Kyara LTD (EO) this morning - veeeery intense oil! It so bursteth forth with spicy, sweet, bitter, and kinamic nectar notes that it is almost a little much at first - as it progresses on the skin it becomes this radiant and immaculate kyara scent (the floral nectar aspect of kyara).. The spicy aspect is more prevalent up front, and this gives way to the smooth floral nectar..

This evening I'm heating some very fine Yunnan '91 agarwood from Ensar. He says Chinese agarwood is the most medicinal, and oh boy it sure may be - I was stabbed/stung by a stingray this afternoon and endured several hours of very bad pain in my foot - finally got seen in the urgent care and am not enjoying the benefits of some pain relieving medicine and this very fine agarwood.. This Yunnan '91 has a rich spicy-sour earthy quality that I just love.. My pain has faded and olfactory bliss has taken its place - thanks Ensar!!
OMG! That is aweful! Hopefully it was not a bad injury. Stingray wounds can be life threatening!

Thanks Kesiro! It did not appear life-threatening - got me in the foot, but I did not get any systemic poison effects or allergic reaction beyond the poison effects on the foot.. Wow though, that is super painful - way worse than bee stings or jellyfish - I was worried they were going to have to amputate my foot or some damn thing given how it felt - and I had to sit in the urgent care for like 2 hours before being seen and it was all I could do not to grimace and groan from the pain.. Not a happy camper! Pain came in waves and didn't decrease in intensity for several hours - now with the meds and oud I'm feeling quite nice though!

TW95 - I do not have this jewel yet, though I have TW Royale and absolutely love it - "Oud of the Year 2016?" Maybe so!

I hear that is an extremely painful sting. So glad it was local and not systemic envenomation. Have to be careful with tissue necrosis though. Hopefully all will be alright.

Today was Mahabali. I cannot get enough of this oil. A clean barn Hindi? Damn right. It is so incredibly satisfying.

My imaginary SOTD is Nha Trang LTD.

My real SOTD is OR No. 5. I dusted off my sample. It is my perception that when speaking of oils, the community rightfully focuses on heart notes and dry downs since top notes are typically fleeting. But when it comes to OR5, I get stuck on the top notes. It's as if I were chewing on licorice, chugging a double espresso while in my garden working potting soil. CRAZY :eek:.

@kesiro Wow! :)

Sotd is Sultan Leather Attar by Master Ensar. Splendid. Seductive masculine scent. I get Oud in the background. Juicy amber. Heavenly musk from this. And the elusive floral whiffs are teasing me. Still cannot comprehend this clearly. I will choose to simply soak in all the brilliance and keep my brain quiet for today. This is one of the best attars I ve put my nose on. Royal and exclusive. Ensar Bhai has a winner yet again.

QUOTE="kooolaid79, post: 9614, member: 182"]They truly are a special type of wood. Very clean, very exotic/spicy, and something of chocolate/leather. One of the best Indian woods I have come across. Very soothing and relaxing![/QUOTE]
Indeed... I got them too, amazing chips, delicious aroma !
