I just got one of the most amazing gifts ever! Our gun slinging sheriff and spine sculptor is also a passionate wood carver who can make anything from custom guitars to.........

A stunning wooden display to showcase my v-vials (sturdy glass bottles fit too!) at the next OudFest. I am so happy with it, I'm going to be on his case to make different styles from various materials. This is just awesome! No more wrapping and unwrapping dozens of bottles and having to set up from scratch every time. Even for personal use it works great, minimizing the risk of dropping bottles & taking care of the mess on my dresser. Absolutely brilliant work amigo!

You guys are too kind. Just a grunt that likes to make stuff. Wanted to make something worthy of the amazing oils of Ensar's.
From a simple idea, it actually came out better than I imagined.
I would definitely be willing to make these for others if there is any interest. There are obviously lots of possibilities in terms of #'s of bottles, sizes, depth, etc.

Given how nice Ensar's and Brian's came out, I need to make some for myself. My storage system of bottles sitting up in the black EO boxes is lame!

Nice wood!
Curly Oak or Curly Koa?
I have a collection of exotic woods, now you've given me an idea;)

Hey kesiro, do you do custom orders? What other types of wood can you do?
Definitely! Certainly willing to work with whatever ideas you have, within reason. As far as different woods, really anything that is available and workable is doable. I am a huge fan of Koa but there are lots of other options. Folks can let me know about their ideas and I can try and make it work.

@bhanny spledid lineup, the fourth from the right appears to be in a very different flacon, is it all steel? I'd like to see that. Anyhow, while the display is impeccable, I can't make out all of the names and I don't know what sayeth the gang; that collection belongs in a bank vault. Maybe stored at the Pentagon perhaps? Or in the Smithsonian? Better still would be the Osmothéque in Versailles or even better still unveiled every decade or so alongside Ranjatai and Kou-jin at the Nara National Museum's Shōsōin treasure repository exhibition. Incredible collection of artwork!

Looks good Brian but somehow you managed to make the wood look a lot different in the picture than it does in person, lol. There is absolutely no redness to that wood, yet the picture looks like it is red.

Yeah, I know I didn't do justice to it my friend. I'll have my wife take some more "professional photos". It is just beautiful piece of artwork.

It's all good my friend. As long as it meets your satisfaction, I am happy. Koa it tough to get the color right in photos. In person it is spectacular. I have some killer stuff in!
