Thank you Oudiferous, I was out of my zone with the borneo zen, I couldn't put a name on the deer musk I never had any, only tried one borneo. When my wife says she likes these as in pink papau also, that really says a lot, "very tough critic" when it comes to natural perfumes.
The pink papua blew me away, when I took the first whiff I felt like I had my nose right in the pink lotus blossom, I was amazed at "how seamlessly woven" (like your phrase better), I wrote in my notes something about how smooth each note synergizes with the next, I liked the pink papau the best for that reason. I have yet to try any of his older or more $$ oud's, I can't compare those notes. I wrote to Ensar right after smelling the pink papua & told him he should insure his nose, he has talent.
Oudiferous you make a good critic, Thanks!
Abdullah, I agree with you about Ensar & his oud parfum, line?
I have to get back to my perfumery, it's been a while.
Thanks to all you regulars, you make this the best oud forum!
Enjoy today, you never know what tomorrow brings!
