Hello Joyoud! You are spot on. You just cannot go wrong with the trusted vendors here. This oil is amazingly good, and for the price it is downright insane! Those that grabbed this oil are not going to regret it. From what I heard from Ensar, this oil has not even been aged. So i can only imagine how it will be in a year. Dang!!

FO Piara.

Enjoying the very last of the delicate purple notes. A-bed, the whole swipe just under my nose, hand cupped and drinking in every last molecule.

It's been a tough time back. Came back to financial kaos to such a degree that yours truly immediately got one then two jobs and am trying to get a third in a legally grey but entertaining driving business.

In these troubled times Oud certainly is a support. When I find myself flagging while stacking and tidying supermarket shelves at 3AM just after my lunch break a good swipe is just the thing.

Actually, Adam, apart from DH all my little ones have worn your Ouds frequently, usually applied by my beard applicator and from the wand, diluted with a little argan oil when the boys are having a tough time sleeping or if ever I am taking baby girl out somewhere special and she is dressed up, I usually apply a little to her, again, with argan oil and she is showered with compliments.

Today was oud nirvana. Ok, so everyday is oud nirvana, but that does not mean I can't be thankful for it. Had some tiny amount of my Kannan Koh sample. Thankfully a little goes a long way. Beautiful dark musky oud.
Tonight it is OM5. I just can't say any more about this than I already have. I cherish every sniff.
On the other wrist is Borai Choco from Adam, AKA, 5 month. Want some barny funk with that chocolate milk?

Today I put the newly aquired Oud Royale 5. Until now I hadn't smelled it and wow was I missing out. The greenish notes which seems like from a Organic green jungle topped with high grade incense wood = the perfect smoky Meroke which any Oudh fanatic can ask for.

Sounds beautiful!
Xiang Liao Ling has opened my mind to Maroke ouds.
I'm really loving it these past weeks.

Dark Ground from TWIS mixed in with a tiny amount of FO DH

The two fought with a clash and a clang when first applied, and I was tempted to head to the shower but I am now gladdened that I persevered.

The high neroli notes of DG are now wonderfully supported by the cherry tabac funk of DH. It manages to be both enlivening and supportive, perfect for getting used to sunlight and daytime again.

Khmer Special K (AA) - very fresh young oil so far it seems - opens with a vibrant camphorous blast - lots of dense and intense energy - settles after a bit into a delightful green/gold sort of thing - superb oil, I imagine it will be tremendous with some aging. In terms of oils to compare it to, there are elements which remind me a little bit of both Royal Chen Xiang (AA) and Ceen (ASO), as well as some very fine Vietnamese oils - certainly not the typical Cambodian profile, that is for sure..

I should add also that a kinamic aspect is strong in this one - kinam of course has many notes, so the "kinam" scent I suppose is simply those notes that one does not find in non-kinam agarwood.. These notes are very familiar once you are well-acquainted with the smell of raw and heated kinam..
