a big lunch, super hot day and nirvata as well as muana royale on me were a lethal combo and against getting any work done. i was almost half asleep but needed to get stuff done. i went for a double espresso, something i only take in the morning and never mid afternoon. didn't quite do the trick. i look around to see what i have in my desk drawer to help and shazzzaammmm: a sample vial of 2012 pursat by EO. a swipe on the upper lips and bam.... i am wired!!! eyes wide open, heart beating faster and vigor coming back.
blind i would have said a northern malay. i see the green of hirta and the rainbow of beccariana at work here along with malaccensis. not the first time i am seeing a cambodi oil as malay. not TW95 or TWR malay but more ayu, purple kinam (minus the kinamic note). some cola nut notes and candied flower petals.
is it a species thing? distillation similarities?
@Ensar
back to the oil. bitter core. thru and thru. extra terrestrial florals. purple flower. candied flower. incense, spice and oud resin depth. good amount of high toned diffusive notes but ample heart and base notes here too. a complete oil. the cola nut note is to my nose unmistakable and its strength so pronounced that it made me go malay.
