Today was a beautifully sunny day in Penn, lovely, balmy to the point where I could almost forgive it for not being Oklahoma.

The scent therefore was chosen fittingly, TWIS Afternoon In France.

Lovely lush lavender, herbs du provence for a deeply soothing, enchanting late afternoon and evening, no madeleines required for a reverie back to Pessac. Lovely stuff.

Tonight I put on the beautiful Oud Mustafa 5. Nothing written can do justice to this wonderful Oudh. A true die hard Oudh lover can't keep this Oudh away from oneself for too long!
Hahaha. Right on my friend. I feel like i am beating the same drum over and over talking about the amazing OM5 but it is justified.

Ending the work week with none other than the beautiful Sultan's Succor in my beard and a hefty swipe of Tan Xiang no.2 on my arm! Merauke and Mysore!!
That is a phenomenal combo right there. The Succor is just incredible!

For me it is Aroha Kyaku LTD. I am very fortunate to have it as well as the AK and Oud Dhul Q. Which one is my favorite? Seems like it is which ever one I am wearing at the moment. So today its the LTD. :)

Archipelago for me today. The sweet/clean Oudh oil which has different notes of vanilla and tanginess. One of the best oils for the price!
@kesiro doc my younger brother went and bought the beautiful Archipelago. Thank you for allowing him to smell it. He loves it dearly as do I!
That is fantastic! Very glad to hear that! That is an oil that punches well above its weight, metaphorically speaking.

SOTD: Lemon Thyme, homemade

I so loved the aroma and taste of the above that I banged a lot about in my mortan and pestle, added some everclear and let it steep for 30 mins. Splashed it all through my beardy bits, et voila, some early summer. I was admittedly inspired by TWIS Afternoon In France.

Any chance of a review of the AK LTD, old bean?

Well Roberto, I will put one up for you this week. Need to spend a little more time with it first.

Today is the beautiful Chugoku Senkoh on the left and Mahabali on the right. Two of my favorites that are just so addictive. Happy Monday y'all!

Finally someone posted here! Thanks Doc! I also got the Chugoku Senkoh. I am just afraid to use it. I might end up using it all. I think for the time being I will just enjoy smelling the cap and be blown away at its crisp beauty of this magnificent Oudh!

Tokusen Tai (AA) - quickly becoming one of my favorite Agar Aura ouds - it has a sublime bittersweet resinous quality, some earth notes, and faint floral notes - there is also a delightful smoky quality to it similar to Aroha Kyaku or Oud Dhul Q, but at a fraction of the intensity...

Need something soporific as it's 2AM and I seem to recall being cried at, pushed to the edge of the bed and kicked soundly in the face so often that I can well believe that one of ye reprobates, nay, scoundrels from here loaned my little one a copy of konami Street Fighter II.

Applying a tiny swipe of all the Ouds I own on my beard, for myself and her.

Update:

Massive cacophony. Huge mistake but too cheap to green tea.

Further update:

Sleepy now, I think the interplay of all the tutto grande discordia harmonium wore me out. Sleepytimeiscalling

no worries , Purple Kinam is very interesting, I got a tiny Vial from Sample Collection , I go back to it just to smell it , not to apply at all , No lie , Incredible Scent from Beautiful fresh Harvest Basmati Rice , Slice a grain and same top note , you might think I am crazy comparing the scent to Rice , But King Of Rice comes close to PK smell and makes sense why Indian Royalty loved it , Give me the Brown Basmati more Healthier . lol
