most aromatic poop ever. made Tibetan size incenses, thin ones, large and small cones.
at first i would compress and compact by using the thicker head syringe a few times. then if you look in the back of the second pic you can see the thinner extrusion. i have found thin/thickness as well as grind size to make a big difference. maybe even more impact than the exact percentage of makko and charcoal. super hard work. too wet like below and during drying the sticks would crack and break, too little and the form wont work and extrusion wouldn't be possible. had to do the syringe a few times to extract excess water and to aerate it for ideal moisture content before drawing the final extrusion.
8ish grams: 50% ceram, 25% bois iris, 8% nha trang anthole, 4% irian noir, 3% mysore sandal, 8% makko, 2% charcoal powder.
lit up one of the thinner inceses the otehr day and again today and if i may so so myself: BAAAM BOOOM. powedery gentle purple sweet smoke. wish i knew how to make it even more perfect. as is little to no acrid notes, softer smoke, but i know it can be further refined. how? without trial and error, i dont know. hope KZ returns my email... any other amateur incense makers who can share their experience?
