It is the only oud he has. I have no way to compare to Ensar's Indonesian as I have only smelled Ensar's Assam and other SE Asian distillations. I don't get the vanillin buzz that Ensar speaks of regarding the 3000. I first get a blast of honeycomb melting in the hot sun, smothering sweetness of sweet fruit or raw maple syrup on top of fruit pancakes and then after a few minutes the wood and amber accords kick in. I can vouch that SMK sells highest quality products, I like his ambergris tincture the best i have tried and he sent a sample of some vintage civet bottled in 1980 that really gave me insight into the power of ageing on the perfumer's products.

Edited 2/8/12:

We've received complaints from customers that the list is long and confusing. We are therefore limiting the list of available ouds to what is already listed on the website. Please visit www.oriscent.com for more info.

Thank you.

Thanks Ensar :)
Wow! When I l@@k at your incredible list, I don't know where to start! I could really do with descriptions of all in one place so I can shortlist the ones I really want.

Tarik,

See page 5 for partial description by Ensar of the Ouds from Burma. you can also enter the name of the Oud in the search button and look for descriptions that come up.

Kalbar 3000! Ensar can you shed some light on this beatiful oil! To my nose it is sweet woody musky and very calming! I get a Papua/Merauke like scent from it but there is a sweetness there that you don't find in oils from Papua? This is one of my favorites and would like to know exactly what's behind this addictive scent (similar to the Oud note in pink Papua) which I love!
